So I have narrowed it to 2 choices HELP!!

Thanks to your last poll results I have narrowed it down to 2 choices! I'm getting closer at least. I am trying to decide between a 2BR villa at VWL or 2 seperate rooms @ Polynesian. It will be myself, my DH, DS2, DS6, & my mom and dad. DS2 will be taking a nap during the day. We want to be able to have a place to sit while he is napping or someone do something with DS6. Please HELP. I am awful at making decisions!!!

Also please tell me why you picked your choice.

Voted 2 bdr at VWL.....cannot beat the accomodations, convenience...washer and dryer...full kitchen...still have privacy...but main living quarters..perfect for G ma and G pa and you still have all the WL hotel amenities! And you still have a beach!

Probably depends on how much time you plan to spend at your resort. The two-bedroom is very roomy--that would get my vote.

First of all, if you want 2 rooms at Poly, you need to request CONNECTING! So you have the door.

I voted Poly.

Unless you are a DVC member, it will be hard (if not impossible) to score a 2BR VWL unit. You will more likely be given a choice of Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Springs, or Saratoga Springs (it will probably be the only thing available to the public).

I was in a similar predicament. We chose 2 rooms at the Poly. We wanted a 2br unit at either BCV or VWL as a second option and our travel agent advised us that the possibility of getting either one for when we were going (May 2009) was close to impossible. She told us that in 7 years of doing this, she has never seen either available at the time they open those bookings to the public (2-6 months out).

I actually have a 2BR on hold right now @ VWL, so it is not really a problem. I had originally wanted a 2BR @ BCV, but that on the other hand has no availablity the whole summer.

I picked the Poly for it's easy access to the monorail and the TTC. I've heard the Poly is a great place to stay with kids with a lot of children's activities. Maybe while the little one is napping, someone could take the older one to the GCH to do the art and crafts or to the pool. We are staying at the Poly in December and can't wait for to stay there.

I think you're way better off with the villa. If you have small kids who will be sleeping while you aren't, that living room (and bedroom door) are priceless.

We love these rooms... They are big, they have a kitchen, two baths, three TVs, washer/dryer.... Trust me when I say you will love not having to pack as much and not coming home with a boat load of dirty clothes... We would do one small load each day and repacked as we went... Really easy... These rooms are great for families and they are really nice!

Love Roaring Forks for grabbing food to bring back to the room or eat quickly there. Make sure you also make a reservation at Whispering Canyon.

The boat to MK is quick and quite relaxing.

Thanks guys. I did change my ressie to VWL and I'm very excited. I know I can't go wrong either way. If I change my mind I think it will be easier to get rooms at the Polynesian then find a 2BR villa. I think at this point the only thing that would make me change is if a 2BR open at BCV. Gotta love that pool and the walk home after Illuminations!

DVC owner here and i definately vote for the villa!!! Then again, I'm going to warn you!! Once you stay at a Villa (whether it be SSR, BWV, BCV, OKW or anywhere else) you wont want to ever stay in a regular resort room again!! The villas are so roomy, washer/dry, huge bathrooms, massive jet pool tubs, full kitchens, etc etc. Go VWL!

I picked the VWL--space, atmosphere, and not having to pray for adjoining rooms!
