So I go out to water the grass this morning...

...and ended up wearing myself out.....

LOL.....I felt productive today. The weather has cooled considerably and the mornings are so inviting. I only went out to water a section of lawn. I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but sometimes I'll start something and finish it and end up doing more than I planned. It happened this morning. The lawn got watered, two trees were pruned and I planted two flower beds with purple heart.....all before 8am! Sometimes you just have to take advantage of industrious moods and great weather.....LOL I'm feeling tired right now. I wonder why...


On a good note, a neighbor walked by with her dog and told me that she loved what I've done with my yard. That's the first time a neighbor has extended such a compliment.

Oh well.....good morning (what's left of it)....

Isn't it amazing how you mean to spend just a couple of minutes out there, and the next thing you know an hour has past by. You keep noticing little things that need tending too and you enter your Garden Zone.......a nice place!!

How nice of your neighbour, I'm sure it's a compliment long overdue!

I'm fine now. I just got back in from pruning my camelia. It's having a hard time and some branches are dying. I'm putting in a walkway, so I sprayed some Round-Up, too. I had to come in though. My allergies are acting up. They also declared today a Code Red day for air quality, so I'll be staying indoors for the most part.

I still have so much I'd like to get done, but it's getting there......

That's great Olena. No, I don't know how that is -- doing more than I plan. I'm lucky if I get up by 8 a.m.!!! LOL

LOL.....it runs in the family. It also happens sometimes when I'm cleaning. My Mom and I call it Hazel-itis.....after my grandmother. It doesn't happen too often.

My grandmother is Hazel. She has these same tendancies.... Sorry for any confusion.
