So I Did A Quote Request For Windsor Hills

This may seem dumb but where do you "do" a rate request for WH? I cant find it on VRBO.TIA Beth

I am an optimist by nature, but sometimes if something "seems to good to be true", it usually is. Anybody ever rent from Dave, at vacationcentralflorida.com?

I found Dave's website just yesterday and was very impressed. I emailed him some questions I had and he responded back immediately. He does not sway from the saturday to saturday rule and since we will be arriving on a friday we have to keep looking. If we ever do need a condo for a whole week we will definitely contact him again.

I know we will, too. I even discussed with my husband the possibility of just going Sat-Sat, since arriving on the Friday was going to cost a lot more money! We could get one hotel room for one night, we've done that the last 2 trips. It doesn't bother me but hubby doesn't like moving and wants to just settle in somewhere for the whole 8 nights. It isn't the moving, per se, it is the idea that you lose the time mid-day on your first real vacation day to check in, get groceries for the week, etc. If you just did it on the way from the airport, checked in and that was it then you just lose a little extra time on your arrival day. Checking out of a hotel, going to a park, and then having to leave at some point to check in, go to the store, and get situated just interrupts the day too much and is inconvenient. Last time, we went to AKL for the day and then left around 4 or so (it was closing at 5 anyway) so that wasn't too bad. We could do it that way again, but I have found some pretty good rates from other owers (not Dave great, but pretty good).

I was in Orlando last summer for 16 days and the owner I rented from was firm in the 7 day, Saturday to Saturday policy (and was also the least expensive by far). I just got a hotel for our first and last nights. I didn't find it bad at all.
