So I bought some pins from ebay...

I bought a 'lot' of 30 so that dd11 would have some pins to trade and have fun with.
I do not know much about pins. Is there any way for me to tell which pins are more 'valuable'? And I don't mean in price, I would think the seller knows more about pins than I do! LOL

Thanks for any help or suggestions. I want this to be a fun experience for dd!

You can go to pinpics.com and search for the pins by typing in what you know about them. Pinpics has a feature under each description where you can determine how many people want a pin versus how many are trading it. If the number trading is much lower than the number wanting, it is a more desired pin.

Pin Values are so subjective...

You can use PinPics as the previous poster suggested.
There is also a price guide out there, but it is around 30.00 to buy.

I suggest to not worry so much about the value and just trade the pins you really like.

However some general rules that can apply(but not always)...

-the more limited a pin the higher the value, most pins have thier limited edition amount printed on the back

-although hidden mickeys are fun to collect and sometimes hard to get the one you want, they usually do not carry a high value

-pin on pin, or sliders, or spinners, or dangles tend to have a better value

As i said no rule holds true with the pins all the time.

I just pick certain themes and characters I like and try to trade for them!
Ones that I like.. Cast Member Exclusives, Tigger, Resorts
What am I talking about.. I like them all LOL
