I'm so looking forward to school. I can't wait to see old friends, meet new people, find out who my teachers are, etc.
I'm going to be a junior, so I'm excited.

For those of you who are going to be freshman, it's not scary. Really. Don't worry. Just please don't stand in the middle of the hallway, its annoying. (idk, most of the freshman at my school do that and it really bugs me, but yet again i'm the girl that gets annoyed by slow walkers)

we had these intersections at my school last year [im going to a new school but it will still probably be bad] and people always stood in them and just talked before 1st hour since we had like 30 minutes to spare. it used to bug me cause if u said excuse me or something they'd look at you like "are you nuts? we're not moving." so i had like nooo way to get past them.

another thing is when your running late to get to class and you get stuck behind those slow walkers. UGH. lol.

okay so we got our schedules and im pretty sure i know NO ONE!!! in any of my classes.. so im freaking out because i dont wanna be like the loser with no friends... and especially at lunch!!!!!! i dont wanna sit alone.. that happend last year like the first day... and yeah it sucked. so hopefully everythings okay at the highschool.

But I have one friend.
So that's not going to work out well.
Unless, I'm in a class with her and some of my old friends (I mean like some of the guy friends I used to talk to at school last year), and then some of those friends are in my other classes.
I dunno, sometimes I just find it easier to be talking to someone I'm not completely 100% good with talking with if I have my friend their. It's almost always 100 times more fun too.

But I am nervous that I am going to get lost, that I am going to get mugged, that it will be wayy too hard, that I'll have tons of work, etc. I'm moving to a new city like a thousand miles away. It should be interesting.

It's was pretty good. Just when I was leaving some random Junior or someone came up to me. The conversation went:
H=Him
H-"Hi I'm ___. What's yours." I already forgot his name and it was about 10 minutes ago. xD
Me: "Kayla"
H: "That's cool. Are you shy?"
Me: "Eh...kinda."
H: "Ok. Well I'm going to make you not shy around me. You a freshman?"
Me: "Yeah"
H: "Cool Cool. So what's your favorite color?"
Me: "Red."
H: "Really. Mines Blue."
Me: "Oh I have to go."
H: "Oh Ok. Well see you later"

My mom pulled up in the parking lot.
I had no idea who he was...and I was a little freaked out because people usually don't just walk up and talk to me unless I know them...but he seemed pretty nice.

Anyways. I didn't get lost...and well that was it. Like a normal day I guess.

I only know two people personally (brothers girlfriend, and an old friends brother). There are some I know, but I only know things about them, I've never talked to.
The ones that I know, but not personally, scare me the most.

Hahaha, that sounds fun. Me and my friends used to walk up to random 7th graders and do that. They looked so terrified and we were just trying to have fun.

No. It freaked me out. I'm ok with the Sophmores and everyone because they were around last year....other than that they scare me...
Especially if they just come up to me like that.

I doubt that I'll ever talk to him again unless he come talks to me.

Well, I guess if you ever feel lonely or out of place, go find him and have a conversation about ... the color of trees xD
See the thing is, people always say 'Oh just introduce yourself to him.' to either make a friend, or if you have a crush on them. But you really realize how awkward it sounds to say:
'Hi, I'm Hilary, what's your name?'
It sounds like the game you play on vacation (What's your name? Where are you from? How old are you? How long are you staying? When did you get here?')

But I was just standing there after my friend left and I saw him walk past and it looked like he was leaving. There were lots of seniors and juniors driving home.

Oh well.
Maybe he's one of those few nice older students (basically like the nice people on the Student Government who are like friendly, but he's not in the student thing).
But the line 'I'm going to make you not shy around me.' sounds like a pick up line. Not the corny kind.. but the egotastic kind.

The only thing I'm nervous is about an overload in homework.

I had a blast at orientation.
I know people, (about 20% of the class) and I talk to them.
I know where I'm going.
The people I don't know, are all really friendly.
We all have the same goals (more academically challenging than the normal high school).
The teachers I've met are awesome.
My prinicpal is very, very nice.

I'm just worried about an overload of homework, as perviously stated.
