It only LOOKS like a curling iron-it is really meant to start a grill or fire :scared1:

I smell "personal injury" attorney all over this product.:rolleyes1

Unless someone has it in their bathroom, I can't imagine it being mistaken for a curling iron. Plus, does it open and close like a curling iron? Honestly, anyone who can't see that it clearly says "LIGHTER" on the side and that it isn't a curling iron and tries to use it on their hair is doing the world a favor by removing themselves from the gene pool.

Here is another image. No, most REASONABLE person would confuse this but there are warnings on curling irons and hair dryers not to use them while in the bath tub so we know there are people that are NOT reasonable out there :rolleyes1

Do you want to hear about the mom that put infant tylenol drops in her baby's EYES because it came with an EYE dropper, or the mom that put her baby's oral antibiotic in her baby's EAR because she had an ear infection (just a couple stories my peditrician friend told me) :rolleyes1

There's more! My niece (thankfully by marriage) put super glue in her eyes instead of prescription eye drops! She ended up seeing an opthalmologist after that and nearly ended up losing her eyesight. Pays to turn on a bedside light and LOOK at what you're doing...don't just reach and ASSUME all is well. Oh, the other things she's done. :sad2:

Lots of stupid people out there, none of whom are entitled to a dime from the manufacturer.

Did I ever tell you guys about the lady who decided to Douche with CLOROX? My mother was a medical assistant for a gyno, and one day a lady came in with a BIG problem...

Mom didn;t know whether to laugh or cry!
