So, how reliable is this weather report and how hot is this?

I was hoping for a cool 60 degrees next week, but looks like we're heading for 79 degrees. In Florida, is 79 awful this time of year? Is it just as humid and muggy as a summer 79? I was ready to pack my light sweaters but I think I'll need to pull the shorts out of storage. Is 75-79 actually shorts weather? And swimming weather?
