So, how is traveling to WDW as a LGBTQ+ community member different than traveling as a straight person for you??

Basically, for me as an adult, especially during Gay Days, is the sense of community. I always feel safe at WDW, and I do usually take a winter trip, as well as a June trip. Sometimes solo, sometimes with str8 friends and family.
But no matter when I travel, there is always the feeling of community in the background from Cast Members and other travelers. The CMs that wish everyone "Happy Pride." in June. I don't do the "private ticket" events like
Typhoon Lagoon party, i just enjoy being there in the parks, and even just people watching and chatting with other community members while we wait in ride queues.

And of course, for everyone, there are the memories. Having grown up in Southern California, I remember the "original" Tomorrowland, riding the flying saucers, the fillers that were there, like the prop display from
20,000 Leagues and the Mickey Mouse Club, the Indian Village, the Monsanto House of the Future, and riding the pack mules. Good times with my Mom and Grandparents, school "Disney Days," and my 8th birthday staying a few days at the Disneyland Hotel,
and seeing Walt Disney in his electric car on Main Street. All those wonderful childhood memories are there, even though it is WDW instead of Disneyland.
