So, how is the nightlife on a disney cruise?

Matt was so boring... A DJ should look like he is enjoying himself and he looked like he wanted to be anywhere BUT the clubs. 80s night was THE most popular and hopping night of the cruise. So I agree 100%!

Our 80s nights were great from 10-11 - as someone says earlier, lots of us middle aged white folks having a good time. Then they went techno at 11 and the place cleared out. I imagine they would have kept a lot of us there if they would have kept the 80s rolling. But it went club, and that kind of crowd doesn't appear to be there on DCL cruises.

Yep, he was horrible. You'd watch faces and no one was spending any time there except to wait for a game show, or a cabaret show, he could have held people easily just by turning the music down a few notches (we're middle aged, not deaf!) and playing things that the crowd was into. Oh, and lay off the darn fog machine, that stuff smells awful!

It's funny a few of you disn't like DJ Matt as DJ. He was DJ twice when I cruised and was one of the better DJ's I've had. But even the ones I thought could do better were more cruisers the DJ that made nightlife lame.

Oh I hate the fog machine. I think it's the mineral oil fog that they're using that has that cloying smell. The dance floor area in Fathoms is just so tiny and the theatre fog just makes me cough.

The WBTA time changes affected my ability to be up dancing late at night as well. It seemed like a good idea to keep getting an extra hour of sleep, but I just kept waking up earlier and earlier and found it more difficult to keep late hours.
