So, how IS the new Princess breakfast? Reviews?

LOVED the Storybook Princess Breakfast! Great service, food was tasty (especially the cheddar cheese potatos!), and the princesses were great! My DD had the time of her life. She dressed in a Jasmine costume, and Jasmine was teaching her the "Jasmine attitude"...so cute. She kept telling all off the other princesses that DD had great taste... DD ate it up!

As for the food, if you don't like hard scrambled eggs, let them know before they bring them out. This was the only complaint at our table... none of us can stomach hard scrambled eggs, and we just didn't have the heart to send them back...everything else was so good, we didn't miss it anyway! We had fresh fruit, a variety of muffins and sweet rolls on the table when we arrived. Then our server (Knut) came around with fresh OJ, and asking for drink orders... I had the coffee (not bad, even if it was instant) and DD had the Chocolate milk. After we had time to eat our muffins and fruit, a large skillet was brought to the table that contained, the aforementioned eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage and those yummy eggs!

We arrived about 8:40 for an 8:50 seating, and were seated within minutes. We had time to eat before the princesses got to our table, so in my opinion, that was good... my DD actually ATE! The princesses come out staggered from the front of the castle, and spend time taking pictures and signing autographs at each table. They were all very beautiful, and looked just as you would expect them to! The dining hall looked just like the inside of castles I have seen in Europe... they did a very fine job.

After this, I won't be so worried about getting those Cindy PS.... this works just as well!

Great review!
Was the french toast regular french toast or that cheese filled stuff they have at the other Princess breakfast?

It was actually regular French Toast, cut up into strips...like French Toast sticks. They were pretty good, but with those potatos, fresh fruit, yummy muffins and the perfectly fried bacon, I really didn't need anything else!

Thanks! That does sound good. I hate to go through the trouble of trying to get Cindys again(not that I have a trp planned or anything), but that cheese filled french toast almost makes me think its worth it...even with 2 DSs who could care less about princesses. ;)

Thanks for the princess info. I'm taking my princess and dragging along DH and DS. When I called a few weeks ago I had no trouble getting a PS, the CM actually gave me quite a few choices. Now I don't feel the need to try to get Cindy's. The food sounds just right for DH. I just know I'm gonna have to splurge for a princess outfit for my daughter before we go.

I'm sorry but I also did the Princess breakfast and was very disappointed in the food. They served hard French toast sticks. The ones we got from Burger King in the airport were better, and cheaper I might add. It was me and my father my 10 year old dd and my 5 dd. They didn't bring enough of the French toast sticks to feed all of us, so I had to wait, and wait and wait and wait. The eggs were powdery, but just ok. For the price I was very disappointed. The girls did walk around several times, and we did get good pictures with all of them, but other than that we were very displeased. So I filled out my survey they supplied with my check. When I returned to my room later that evening, the chef had called. He spoke to my father. He wanted to know why I wasn't happy with my meal. He apologized frequently, and suggested we came back for breakfast on him. Unfortunate we couldn't make it for the free meal, but the point of him calling and being generally interested why I wasn't happy mad me feel better. I would not do it again.

Okay, nitpicky question, but was the sausage patties or links? Ever since they cancelled the Garden Grill character breakfast, I have really missed the sausage patties they served. Does anyone know?

From what I remember, they had both links and patties on the skillet.

Jua821--- the fact that the chef called you does say that he cares, and perhaps he will take into consideration everything you said..... in that case, I would try it again. This is a new place, and I am sure that there are kinks to be worked out.

Seems like it is popular and well liked, as it has been made permanent.

Was Mulan there?

NO! I don't think anyone has seen her there yet. We went on the 22nd and had a great time!
