So, how exactly do you get to Cali Grill?

The Contemporary Resort completely confuses me! (And that is really weird because I have an amazing internal navigation system.)

DH and I will be in town in May and plan on taking his clients to Cali Grill one evening for dinner and fireworks. And yes - I do already have our ADR's! Since this will be a client dinner, I don't want to look like a moron walking up and down the concourses trying to find our way.

We will be in a rental car. Can someone give me step by step directions from the parking lot to the check-in desk on the second floor? Thanks DIS!

You walk into to the building and take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor where you will check in & they will accompany you on a dedicated elevator that goes to the Cali Grill on the 15th floor.

IIRC after driving up (we valet) you go inside, go to the elevators kind of back, to the right, up to either the 2nd or 3rd floor to check in. Then when called, a host will take you upstairs. I am sure there will be signs to help you, so you will look like you know where you are going. FWIW.

Since this is a client dinner and you will have a rental car, why not valet and then tell the valet that you need to check in for the California Grill. I'm sure they will be able to help you out with the best directions. And if you get "lost", you can blame the valet for faulty instructions!

OOOOH! Love this idea - you DIS'ers are so smart! I am so excited to finally go to this restaurant, and it is without kids, on the company tab!
