So how does the adding cash ressies with a points ressie work now with the 'NEW PLAN'

I got to thinking today about our trip in July and how hard it would be to book that same vacation next year. This year we are staying on cash on Sat. July 19th, the points for 5 nights, then cash for 2 nights all at OKW in a 2br. Then on Sunday July 27th we switch to BCV in another dedicated 2br for 5 nights on points and the last night on cash for a total of 14 nights all together. Everything is linked. So what happens NOW THAT THIS BOOKING THING HAS CHANGED??? Any people want to attempt to figure this out for me???

I would expect that you would now be able to reserve (based on availability of course) the first cash night on August 19, 2008 and then reserve the 5 nights on points on August 20, 2008. The next two cash nights could be reserved on August 25, 2008. Those nights (as long as all are in a 2BR) could still all be linked together. Next, you should be able to reserve the next 5 nights on August 27, 2008 and then the last cash night on September 1, 2008. Again, as long as the cash nights are in the same type of villa they should be able to be linked together again.

It would be nice if the first 7 nights could al be reserved on August 19, but since they will be two separate reservations - with the second arrival date on July 20 - each reservation will likely be able to be reserved 11 months from it's arrival date.

The cash nights may be available with the member discount, but the discount might not be able to be applied until later. I would request the discount, but still reserve the cash nights at rack rate thru MS.

Thanks....why did MS do this?? It just seems so complicated now.

You know why this is so confusing..I own at SSR but our trip this summer is at OKW and BCV. I was lucky and got these resorts at about the 6 month window and we are doing cash to help extend our stay.. Thanks
