I know everyone asks this so I might as well jump on the bandwagon. This trip will include me, DH and my mom and dad and we are staying at the AKL. DH and I have been once before in Dec. '06 for our honeymoon and mom and dad have never been and this will probably be there only trip. We will be on the Deluxe Dining Plan. popcorn::
Which park on which day is not for sure yet (waiting for hours and TGM Best Days) except for Day 2 when we will do MVMCP so we will do MK that day.

Any input is greatly appreciated. :teacher: Thanks a bunch!

Wow that looks yummy!!

I think since you are traveling without kids you will make it, but some of those days look like a lot of eating!! :) Like Day 2... but it's all close location-wise so I think you'll be ok. Also, maybe your times are more spread out than I am thinking (we always have to eat early with the kids).

Looks delicious!! :)

Thanks!

It will be a lot of food but I think we can walk it off. :scared: We will try to spread it out as much as possible. We'll be up early so early breakfast and we are all used to eating dinner pretty late so we will take late seatings with no problem. Hopefully that will be enough to keep us from going into food comas! :faint:

You've chosen some really good restaurants!!! I do think spreading out the meals would be a good idea since you have TS 2 times on a lot of days and some with 3. Great choices!!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the replies! I'm planning on eating light on the CS Breakfasts and then spacing out the other meals as far as possible. I was considering just getting the regular dining plan but realized that I really want to eat at all those table service places. This will probably be the only WDW trip for my parents and DH and I won't be back for quite a while as we want to start trying for kids soon so I figured we could splurge this trip.

Looks great. I like alot of your choices. The only one I might of added would be Jiko since you are staying at the AKL.

Wow that is going to be a lot of time and food. I bet it will be an amazing expereince though.

I thought about Jiko but Raglan Road seemed to be getting such great reviews. :confused3 Also since we will eat at Boma twice I thought my family might like a break from "weird" food.

Three tables services in one day can really put large holes in your day reducing actual park time. Depending on the times you may not even be hungry. Then add times when you do no get seated on time and your day is going to seem like you are eating and making your way to the next restaurant. You might review these and add time factors into your review for eating, delays, and travel times and see how much time remains for rides...then calculate the wait times for rides and getting from one to the other.

It looks quite yummy. There are a few days of alot of eating but hey no kids really and if you time your meals right you can go at a time when you get in and out for lunch and what not. Seems like you have great plans like you can take the monorail to Contemp. from Epcot and what not. Makes me want to get on a plane and not want to wait

Yeah it does seem like we will be spending a lot of time eating. One thing I'm hoping for is lower crowd levels so that ride wait times won't be too bad. We went about the same time in '06 and hardly had to wait for anything.

The other thing I didn't mention is that my dad is on oxygen. He is working on building up his stamina and he really does get around with no trouble but I think it will be good for him to sit down and rest for a bit. That being said he is also very stubborn and will not rest even if he needs to, so I figure all the TS places will be a good way to "trick" him into taking a break.

After looking at it some more I think I will put Jiko in place of Raglan Road and also ditch one of the TS breakfasts. Would it be better to eliminate Crystal Palace or Kona Cafe?

Thanks for all your help everyone!

I am going to be staying at Animal Kingdom as well and have many of those same reservations. Jiko is the one I am most looking forward to so I definately applaud your decision to go there. Based on the looks of your schedule I think if you are wanting to get rid of Kona or CP, I'd ditch Kona and get to Epcot all the more earlier- you can use your snack credits to eat that morning.

Looks like a solid plan to me! I'm wondering about Tutto myself. I have ADRs for next week, and I'm totally unsure!

That sounds about right to me. I was leaning toward getting rid of Kona simply because of the time and effort it will take to get there early in the morning. I think DH might miss trying the Tonga Toast but he'll get over it.
On that note does anyone know if Sunshine Seasons has the strawberry shortcake available in the morning?

Your ADRS sound great, however you may get full because you have places to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So you may be full when it comes to be dinner. . . but your ADRS sound GREAT. Have a magical trip! :wizard:

Yeah we are going to be kinda stuffed  but we will be stuffed with tasy food so I guess that makes it ok! :rolleyes1
Thanks for the compliment on my choices, hopefully my family will like them! :grouphug:
