So, how do you cook YOUR pork chops??

I have never breaded them and I think frying dries them out. I usually use Teriyaki (the thick kind) or a mix with Hawaiian marinade, Sweet & Sour and Hot Sweet Chili sauce. On the BBQ is best, or broiled in the oven. I use thick chops with no bones. Tastes great with Rice-a-Roni and fresh steamed broccoli. :stir:

I am stuck in a pork chop rut and I need something different! PLEASE?

So far I only know how to:

1) Shake & Bake 'em
2) Throw barbecue sauce on 'em

Can anyone bring some variety into my life? LOL.

:worship:

Those are my two ways I cook pork chops. I did #1 tonight.

Oh my...these are sounding SOOOOOOO good. I will toss out my Shake & Bake. LOL.

:thanks: :thumbsup2

Dip in bread crumb and bake at 375 for 40 minutes (very thick - 2-3" chops).

Yummy.

My favorite way is to bake them in the oven with ground salt and pepper. :) My second favorite way is to marinate them for a couple of hours in a mixture of teriyaki sauce, ginger, garlic and pepper. Then we either bake them or grill them.

I used to always do the shake n bake too. Tonight I made some and I seasoned them with a little pepper and thyme, then cooked them in a frying pan with some butter. Took them out and kept them warm, put in apple slices, sauteed them till tender. Then added 2 T each of brown sugar and balsamic vinegar, cooked until bubbly and put the chops back in to warm everything up and served over rice. Yummy!

8 pork chops
1 cup ketchup
1 cup coca cola
brown sugar

Place pork chops in a baking pan, season with salt and pepper. Mix the ketchup and cola and pour over the prok chops. sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake uncovered in a 350 oven for 1 hour or unitl chops are tender. I serve wiht rice or egg noodles....the sauce tastes great on them!!!!!

We like them marinated in Italian dressing and grilled on the Foreman.

These ingredients don't sound like they would work, but the chops are awesome:

2 T butter
6 boneless chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
¼ c ketchup (I use Heinz 57 for some zip)
2 ½ t Worcestershire sauce

Mix soup, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and set aside
Melt butter over med-hi heat
Brown chops on both sides
Top with sliced onions
Pour soup mixture over chops/onions
Cover and simmer 40-60 minutes until meat is no longer pink

I usually serve them over noodles with some type of salad or steamed veggie.

I do this too! Except I use cream of mushroom soup and serve it with rice and a veg :) My DH and DDs love it :thumbsup2 Next time I'll try it with cream of chicken soup.

I cook them in the crockpot.. You get the small thin ones.. You brown them lightly then put them in a crockpot.. I buy 1 of the big packages of chicken broth and pour 1/2 of that into the crockpot than put the porkchops in.. Then pour the rest of the broth in.. I put 1 cup of water in, 2 cans of campbells rice and chicken soup and 1 1/2 cups of minute rice.. Let it cook for about 10 hours.. Its the bomb :thumbsup2

I brown them and then let them simmer with a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom for anywhere between 10-30 minutes. Mmmm

I can't give you a recipe because I just kinda throw this together...
lay pork chops in casserole dish, top with sliced potaotes, cover with mix of cream of mushroom and cream of celery, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, bake til it's ready (sorry?). yummy!

I flour mine and then Emeril them and fry them on the stove in olive oil. I only buy the boneless thin ones though... my husband goes gaga over them, I like them ok.

Nothing exciting here, but one of our favorite ways to eat chops is to mix some mushroom soup and onion soup mix together, water it down a little, and then pour over the chops. Cook in the oven or cook low in the crock pot for several hours. Yummm. We also love 'em fried.

You haven't had good pork chops unit you've had them grilled (real charcoal in a Weber grill). There's dozens of different ways you can season/marinate them.... my kids are KRAZY  about grilled pork chops.

I think we've done as little as salt and pepper them, to using Dale's, to using Italian dressing, or the sprinkle on Greek seasoning....just whatever you like.

I seem to recall even soaking them Coca-Cola one time.

I brush my thick chops (2 to 2.5") with EVOO & then press them in Progresso Italian Flavored bread crumbs. I put them in my toaster oven pan (which I lined with foil) & then drizzle just a touch of EVOO on each one & bake for 1 hour at 350. I serve with apple sauce, stove top stuffing or a pasta/rice side dish or a potato & a fresh steamed veggie.

I follow the directions on the back of the pork stove top stuffing mix. It is all in one pot You brown the pork chops and them mix sauted onions apple and stuffing together. I put the stuffing on top of the chops and put them in the oven. YUM
