The Country Bear movie yet? (or will I get flamed for even asking;) ). I read the review in three different papers, two were favorable (nothing at all objectionable, good music, and basic message that your family are the ones that truly love you), and one was so-so. My kids are dying to see it, I just haven't told them it's out yet!!! I would love to hear any opinions by "true Disney fans." Thanks!

I listened to a review today on the radio, from the Saturday morning movie review on WGN radio. The guy who saw it just kept saying (a lot too) that he was 'weirded out' by the 'look' of the bears, LOL. He said he knows they are in a kids movie, that they can talk and all, but unlike other similar movies, these just 'weirded him out'. He thought the movie was okay.

Thanks Dan, that made me laugh about the guy being "weirded out" by the bears. I guess by the lack of response, not too many Dis'ers rushed out to see it this weekend!!! The kids have camp this week so we won't have time to see it (oh, darn;) ), but I'll let you know when we do!

We got two free tickets for spending 60.00 at the Disney Store yesterday so I will let you know what we think of it when we see it. I dont know if we would go if we hadn't gotten the two free tickets.

I *might* decide to catch it on video. But I won't be seeing it in the theater. I'm too disappointed in Disney for taking what could have been a good storyline on its own and deciding to make a stupid one that turns the Country Bears into a rock group instead of a good country band.

Rajah...Im with you!

Who ever heard of the Rock Bears? lol Its supposed to be the COUNTRY Bears & everyone knows it!

While I was channel surfing yesterday, I came upon Ebert and 'that new guy'. Can't remember his name. I just remember they were reviewing this movie and gave it two thumbs down. The other guy said the bears looked wooden and hardly 'moved'.... didn't look animated enough while talking I suppose.
