My co-worker reminded me that when we were out at lunch last week I couldn't walk and talk without getting out of breath...and DH pointed out I wake up and cough during the night a few times...if it is asthma, at least it's treatable.
I felt the same as you last week. I had just gotten over a typical cough/cold and thought I was on the road to recovery.
Then I began to get breathless and even had to sleep with my head and chest propped up on pillows (not very comfortable). I had audible (without stethoscope) wheezes throughout my lungs. I weent to the doctor and he said I had a case of viral asthma. I have been on an inhaler for one week today and feel better. The wheezing is gone and I can once again sleep on my back and flat. I still feel slightly breathless on exertion but much better than before.
