Okay, so I was going to buy 2 kitchen pantry cabinets (free standing) from Target online. They were very nice, inexpensive, and were the perfect size for my small kitchen. The 2 of them would have cost about $280 (including tax and free shipping).
As I was about to order them last night, I realized the site said it would take about 2 weeks to ship. Hmmmmm...... I decided to just look around online and see what I could find. I'm so glad I did!!
I found a really nice kitchen pantry on the Sauder site. Much better quality than the Target one, the size was such that I could purchase 1 rather than 2, and it looked a lot nicer.
I put in my ZIP code to see where I could buy it close by and it led me to a store close to me that I had passed by on many occassions but never shopped at. We went to that store today, found an even nicer one (!). We browsed around the store a bit more and found a cabinet/stand for our TV. (We had planned on buying one from BJs, but liked this one better) Both items are Sauder brand (which I've always loved and never had any problems with). We bought both items ---- total price? $302!!!! Amazing!!! For just $21 more, I got both items!! Had I bought the original pantries and the TV stand, I would have spent close to $500!!!!!!
Now, that extra $200 is going toward my eye exam and glasses which I've been putting off for months.
