We did this tour several years ago and, for us, it was great. We were very interested in the behind the scenes stuff - what makes Disney work. It was a seven hour tour, and because three others cancelled that morning, we had the entire tour to ourselves; in effect, a private backstage tour. The cost is a little pricey, but if you want to see bacstage at MGM, Epcot, & MK, this is THE tour to do. You can read about the details at http://allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm#bsm
if you are interested in anything other than standing in long ride lines, this is GREAT!!! I consider myself to be a student of Disney and i found it informative and fascinating
We did the backstage tour right before animal kingdom opened and loved it. I was a castmember at the disney store at the time, so we got a nice discount...which made it ever better.
It was very interesting to see everything behind the scenes. We loved the animation class. I actually have the sketch that the animator drew to show us how to draw goofy!!!
