I just called 90 days out to make my dining and could not get half of my dining spots! We are not on the dining plan plan and staying at the Beach club and I am just so mad. I could not even get T rex for diner! Never mind Le cellier! I am so mad. Something is not right.

I feel for you...it seems to be the free dining is making reservations next to impossible. I hope you manage to get something sorted that you like

Unless something changed, T-Rex doesn't take ADR's. Although I agree something isn't right. They have screwed up the system and made it even worse. As more and more people get into the web system, it will only get worse, IMHO.

Try out the new online reservation system!

You might find that you can get a reservation there when the call center can't find something. It's been kind of wacky. Try it out and keep checking online!

The same thing happened to us for our trip 2 wks ago. Once we were there DD had openings on 2 different nights...which seemed weird to me. Raglan Road (seated immediately), Rainforest and the New Restaurant, sorry can't remember the name. We were a party of 14 too.

Did you try Le Cellier for a late lunch? That's what worked for us and nice dining CM who tried every time slot during our trip.

Good luck! I know it is frustrating.

This is worth a shot. It wouldn't surprise me if open reservations are split between the Disne Dining call center and the online ADR system. I'd like to they both use the same system, but who knows; maybe it's split and there are two separate pools of reservations.

Thanks I have been trying the online system and it tells me that there are still no reservations available. But I will keep at it. Also I am witting a letter and e-mail to guest service to complain that I did my part and followed the rules and this just seems fishy! Their loss in money I guess we will still have a good time no make that a GREAT time.

I'm very frustrated, too! My 90 day window was this weekend and I woke up early to call for ADR's. I also tried online and got less than half of what I wanted. We're staying at the Contemporary on the Deluxe Dining Plan with no where to eat but Tony's and 1900 Park Fare! And why is Ohana so hard to reserve? I tried for them first (7:05 am) for any meal and was told that they were booked!

T-Rex does take ADR's.

If you are trying to make your ADR's using the 90 + 10 window, I don't believe that Disney releases all of the available space during the + 10 window. If you try calling back when the exact date you want is 90 days out then you might be able to get something.

Also, I personally feel that some of the dining cast members do not know how to use the system to effectively search for a dining time. I really like using the new online system to make my own ADR's. I recently moved my vacation forward 1 week and had to make new ADR's just 45 days from my trip. Yes I had to make a few changes as to days I wanted to dine at certain restuarants but with a little searching I was able to get every restaurant I wanted including Le Cellier, T-Rex, Teppan Edo and 5 others. I say hop online and see if you can get any of the ADR's your missing. You might not but it is worth a try. Nobody cares more about getting what you want than you do. Sometimes I feel as though the cast members are just in a hurry to get done with me and move on to the next guest. I also find it hard to believe that any restaurant is fully booked at 7:01am exactly 90 days out. Keep checking online, many people have said they have been able to snag something that they really wanted by checking back frequently.

I had the same problem. I tried the new online ADR system and could not get any ADR's that I was hoping for, including Le Cellier. I even called and could not get Le Cellier. The key is to keep trying. The very next day I tried online again and there was a spot open.

I made a ADR for CRT for Sept. 28 today. I was using the online system and they wanted to charge my card, even though I'm on the DDP and linked my reservation to dining. The online reservation was for 6:20. I logged out and called and got the same time. They knew I was free dining because I gave them my confirmation # and she didn't charge my card, just took the number.

I have been trying all morning online and I find it hard to believe that for my entire trip 1900 park fare is booked for diner everyday every time from open to close! no way! even t-rex same something is fishy!!!!! I will keep trying but I figure i will be eating a lot of quick service oh well still good food.

When I tried to get and ADR for T-Rex thru Disney, nothing was available. But you can call T-Rex direct and make a priority seating, I was able to get any time that I wanted. It worked for me.

:rotfl: That's the only ADR they keep telling me is available!

I'm serious about not giving up so quickly. The other people were right about dining being released on the exact 90 day mark, as well. And people cancel all the time.

It seriously pays to keep checking online. My friend got Le Cellier for end of August from a total fluke in timing online.

I second the PP idea to keep trying online. The online ADRs are popular, because we don't have to pay to call the Disney phone line anymore. That is, unless anyone wants to book special dining packages like Fantasmic! dining, Victoria & Albert's, private dining, etc. You still have to call Disney for those.

I have a business trip in Orlando less than 15 days away, and out of the blue, my fiance is joining me to celebrate our 7-year (dating) anniversary there.

(Like the OP, we booked our ADRs for our longer trip in late September at the 90-day mark with the online system, and this was a slightly different experience. But it really wasn't as bad as we thought it could be!)

Even with short notice, we were able to book meals like Le Cellier + Sanaa online tonight... Many restaurants still had lunch and very early dinner options available around 4:00-5:00pm. No matter when you're visiting, try selecting different times online that are closer to your date in case you come across a cancellation.

Don't give up hope!

They had a problem with the ADR system a few weeks ago (before the on-line went live). Everyone who called was told that everything was booked. They really weren't, it was just the system malfunctioning. The dining CM's didn't know there was a problem either. Later that day it was fixed.

So, CALL BACK!

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I made our ADR's last week on our 90 day mark (some online, and some over the phone) and had no problems at all (which I was VERY thankful for, because I had anticipated the opposite). We got everything we wanted, including CRT breakfast, O'hana breakfast and Le Cellier dinner, all for 5 people. I was even able to go back in and move a few around as late as today (Sci-fi lunch on a Saturday, but I couldn't get CP for dinner during our MNSSHP night - we currently have 1900 PF) That said, we don't always eat at 'prime times' since we don't have any kids in our party, which allows us to be a little more flexible. Also, one trick I found that worked was to make the harder to get ressies toward the end of the trip.

I was posting on another thread on the Restaurants board where everyone was reporting their ADR's for Sept. trips, and it didn't seem like anyone was experiencing major issues getting ressies either. Like another poster said, it may just be a glitch in the system.
Keep trying and I hope it all works out for you! :wizard:

I feel your pain. We are going for the last week of free dining, and even at 90 days, we had trouble getting some things. The most disappointing was our dinner reseveration for the day of MNSSHP is at 8:30. That's not cool.

So, I'm checking back regularly. The system's acting a little funky this morning.

Best of luck.

Don't forget that people cancel when they have to pay up, that is 45 days before, so check on that day- all day!!

And keep checking the online system, I have seen things come up!
