Okay so far I have booked:

Randy Chapman for photography - ceremony and resort photos afterwards

Disney Photography as part of the Intimate package - because I am having Randy do the main pics, I am having Disney do a Honeymoon shoot as an even trade. I am also having the MK shoot

Rev Randall Miller - He seems so nice in his emails!

Beauty Speciale - Hair and Make up, very reasonable prices and their portfolio is outstanding!

Videographer - I'm still debating this one. I really loved A Cut Above, but their booked. A Magic Moment seem reasonably priced but haven't heard of anyone else using them. STVS seem great but they are really expensive and it is just the 2 of us, so any other recommendations out there?

Mickey and Minnie are sidelined at the moment. Although i would love for them to be there, I'd rather have the Videography if it came down to it. Still I'll see how the funds stretch.

Anyone else want to add who they have booked so far? It might give me and others an idea of who are the most sought after companies. Videography is the thing that is getting to me the most. I can't seem to settle on a company, don't want anything cheesy but want it romantic, music etc, oooh and special effects!

So if anyone has any more ideas, I'd be really grateful.

Thanks

I booked Randy Chapman for ceremony photos and resort photos.

I am doing the MK Honeymoon shoot as an even trade.

I cancelled my MK Photo shoot due to the construction.

I have scheduled Mickey and Minnie.

Have decided to opt out in the ever so expensive videography- which I may end up regretting.

Lisa Pena with Lisas Magical weddings is booked for Hair and Makeup

Rev Jack Day for ceremony.

STVS does do a raw footage only format. It is less expensive, but you do not get the editing.

I'd definitely go for the videography over Minnie/Mickey--while they'd be amazing to have, since it's just you and your DF at your wedding, it might be kinda odd....but I could be wrong about that.

If there's one thing I regret, it's not having a video done.
I had Minnie & Mickey and I just wish I could look back on my day, but I can't...it's done now. I have photos, but they're not the same.
I ummed and ahhed over it and thought, oh I wont bother, but I am so sad I didn't do it.

I agree, I think I have to go for Videography. I noticed a company called Orlando Wedding Films today that looks really good and reasonable prices. Anyone used them before?

Hi S-C,

I'm having an intimate at the WP

I booked Randy Chapman for photography, and opted for the Honeymoon photo session as a trade for the Disney photography

I reserved the Chef's Domain at Citricos

We added on Mickey and Minnie

At the last minute I decided to add on videography and chose to use A Magic Moment (at first we were just going to ask the family to tape it, but with only 7 people going I felt uncomfortable asking someone to tape it)

I decided to pass on hiring someone for hair and makeup, and bought my own hot rollers and went for make up lessons.

I'm also hoping to get a Wishes Cruise, but I have a week or so to wait before I can book -- I can't believe I'm almost 90 days out!

The videography decision is such a back and forth thing. In the end I decided to splurge because once upon a time we had talked about doing the MK bridal shoot. In the end it was going to take away too much from the only night we were staying at the GF (I just didn't want to have to get up at 4AM!).

Good luck with your decision on videography. I'll be happy to tell you about my experience with A Magic Moment. Our wedding is Jan 4th....
