so excited..

Oh yes, the kids and co-ordination problems. DD is into things "matching", read: all one colour, but in various shades and tones :scared1:. On "non fad dressing" days she gets the outfit right but them puts on some clashing socks and shoes. Now that I see all the practicality involved in your strategy I suspect I could well become a convert ;)

see you take the mickey about me being ocd, and packing early, but it saves a load of time and arguments whilst on hols:cloud9:
also means i can have some disney magic before i travel!!

ps got the email conf today that it was all paid, i always panic, even though i know its ok, iykwim, so just have to save for spending money now:lmao:

I hadn't intended to take the ::MickeyMo out of you :). But you know that - I was just surprised that you are doing it so early - see now that would be where OCD could challenge me "So long ago since I packed. What's in the bags?"

Yes, that's the fun part :goodvibes

tbh, i forget what is in the suitcase, often its a case of "where did you get that t shirt? eerrrmm, mom, you brought it:rotfl2:

the clothes are ok, when its done its done, its other things like sunblock, hair brushes, nail clippers etc, i forget!!
i also know about a week before i ll check them and add those last few silly things, that im bound to forget..heheh:cloud9:

Funny, those are the things that I have in my box. In fact I have some static items that stay in there and get packed right back into the suitcases in the loft so that they are there when we want to go. Hmmm, now who's OCD. I'm obviously in denial! :lmao:

Er, ..... you have booked your replacement in chat for the three weeks you are away? I would have thought that was number one on your agenda of things to do. :rotfl2:

I'm sure you'll have a marvelous time and Victoria and Albert's will be a highlight.

Kev

kev, i thought you dbe my replacement, as you havent been there yourself for a few weeks:rolleyes1:hug::rotfl2:

I am panicking - I think you are going at the same time as me (1st August) - we are paying off ours on Friday - sure it is not due until Sunday - have you paid yours slightly early??? Invoice etc at my mum house :goodvibes

another one here for 1st August, you flying BA or Va?

Tracy you are so organised . i try to do this and end up having several of one thing and none of the other- our last trip I forgot to pack DD13's Pj's but had enough toothbrushes for about 20 people! :lmao:

I think the packing is brilliant! I just keep buying things and throwing them up on top of the wardrobe!! Got spare batteries today, had to buy in AK last time - ouch.

You go girl!:)

:lmao: You could have left them for Mousekeeping in case they wanted to scrub the grouting in the bathroom ;)

Before I laugh too hard, another word of advice: If you choose a different brand of anything, make sure you try it out before you leave! Last year I bought a different brand of toothpaste because they had it in a half sized pump and it seemed more practical than the full size. It was one of the popular brands - Aquafresh I think - but one of those "different" types they bring out, like Extreme Clean or something like that. Well the first night DD and I nearly gagged on the flavour and ended up putting our crocs on and moseying down to the gift shop in our PJs near to midnight to buy toothpaste. I was too tired to explain our attire to the CM at the desk :rolleyes1

tbh i bet they have seen worse:rotfl:
my kids convinced me to buy them cinnamon tooth paste, boy does that burn your mouth:scared1:

thanks kathy for your kind thoughts, Lee is just searching for inspiration, as she knows my uber organisation is something to be jealous of:laughing:
funnily enough, dd is the only one of us that wears pjs, so i have brought hera newpair and bagged and packed them:woohoo:

I love the packing and organising part! When the volcano was causing problems I was thinking that I would not be able to enjoy my packing this year!!!

I am really paranoid about forgetting the driving licences this time for some reason. Keep reminding me nearer the time please.

Got a nice new black bumbag for the parks last week and straight onto the packing shelf. It is exactly the same as my last one which was perfect but after four trips the buckle is opening a but randomly. Not good in a busy park.

I don't think I have anything else to get!?!

I need to get dh a new baseball mickey cap, as his looks a bit dead (to be fair its on its 5th trip, and he is the onnly one who doesnt leave his cap and lose them on a regular basis;)
kids will need new hats to, will get them on arrival, more choice.
ds needs crocs and im done!!
weighed my first 2 cases when i dropped them at moms this morning and they both weigh 15kg, so i have 1 more (which im doing now:rotfl:) and then im finished:yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::yay::yay:
there will be some things i cant put in til the last minute, printing flying labels later with hotel addresss......yeah me!!!

Tracy, have you thought of letting the family look online for their baseball caps and having them shipped to your resort? Last Easter we met up with a single mom and her daughter and spent a day together at AK. Her DD needed a cap and we went with them to pick one. She paid $23 for it - just a plain pink cap with the letter "M" for Minnie on it. I remember exactly how much it cost as she went on about it all day :lmao: Even more so when her DD left it behind in ITTBAB :scared1:

hi sarah, we are all mad on here;), its the mad moms club:rotfl:, your welcome to be an honourary member:hug:

Well the way I see it is, if everyone on here is mad, then it is normal. Therefore we are all normal, read perfectly sane ;) and everyone else has a problem :rolleyes1

Oh no, don't buy from Disney. The idea is to get the Disney brands from non Disney outlets at a fraction of the cost. I will have a scout around and let you know if I come up with anything. :)

And you have probably been on here already but this is the eBay one

Actually, this is fun! I might just get DD one too. I don't know how old your kids are and what they like at the moment - probably should have checked that before I started looking.
