I have been looking for an aluminum Christmas Tree for years. We had one when I was growing up and I've always wanted another one. I see them from time to time but so many are sparse and small. This one on ebay was 7.5' and has 209 branches still in their original paper sleeves for protection. The color wheel comes with it and it's all in the original box from Sears, circa 1961. I saw it on ebay and someone was messing with me cause each time I bid, they bid immediately and overbid me. I stopped and left my max bid as the lowest price the seller would take-walked away. Last night I got notice that the other bidder had withdrawn and that I might win the bid. I didn't get excited because I've seen these trees go for $200 more than I bid. Just now-I got the notice that I won the bid!!! I have Mom and Dad's ornaments from their tree-all aqua, pink and silver. I may not get it up this year but next year I'm stylin with my new midcentury Christmas tree in my midcentury house. DH says I'm making the living room a movie set from the late 50's. lol! It's fun finding this stuff from my childhood. My brother is going to be sooooo jealous!!!

Please post pics!!!
