SO Excited! We were chosen for DVC video

A few weeks ago, we received an email that said if you were going to be at WDW in May, tell how you use your DVC membership and submit picture of your family. We received several calls, had several interviews and last week were told that this week, when we are at our "Home" OKW that we will be part of a new DVC promo video.
We leave tomorrow morning and on Wed they do the taping. This is the Ultimate Dream come true! Still feels like it's not real.
Originally I thought it would be a short interview at the resort, but will be most of the day... kind of like a "mini" reality show.

We planned this trip, back in Dec to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. But it has become the best Anniversary and Mother's Day gift ever.

Would love to know any of the other families that are part of the taping.

Very cool! I'd guess that you are among several families that are in your demographic that will be recorded. They may use all, some, or none of the content they capture with you. Still it's fun to participate and maybe there will be a small perk of some sort they will offer you for your time. The big thing here is your 40th anniversary. Most folks don't make it to that milestone. Congrats!

So glad to see this post! We are also going to be filmed for this promo video. I think they said there are 13 families) We were contacted and interviewed much the same way and will be filmed on the 19th,a day after we arrive at our home resort SSR. We are traveling with our twenty something DS and DD, celebrating our 35th anniversary, the fact that they both graduated last year and have jobs, and just being together. We've had this trip planned since last October.
We are so excited for this opportunity and think it will be a lot of fun. Can't wait-have fun on your filming!

Seriously, bluedoggy, I am SO happy for you and your family! Every time I see one of the DVC videos I wonder what those people are like in real life, have I seen them in the parks before, are they REALLY DVC members?, are they normal every day people? was it REALLY their anniversary?! HAHA

A dream is a wish your heart makes... and it seems like your heart is jumping for joy over this one!

Just another example of how Disney makes dreams come true!
