So Excited!!! Just Booked The Breathless For Illuminations Cruise

I am so excited.i tried to book a regular cruise but was no availibility for the 9th of september for any others,when she told me there was no availibility i just wanted to cry because i was booking this as a birthday present for my little sister that will be turning 11 on the 9th,so when i told her that she told me to let her check something and she then said she had the Breathless for that night then disappointment turned to unbelievably happy.i just wanted to share.
I would love any input on the Breathless if anyone has any.

My DH and I had the pleasure of sharing the Breathless with a fellow DISer two years ago and it was amazing. It was very romantic and quiet, and the view of the fireworks were spectacular! Have a blast!

The Breathless is a wonderful boat. A beautiful 1930's wooden ChrisCraft, all mahogony and teake. Very cool, very classy, and very fast. My wife an I did the Breathless Illuminations cruise 10 years ago, before the Boardwalk was built. Back then the driver had the run of the lake, and boy did he like to open it up. If they still can let her rip, it will be loud, possible a little wet (from the spray that comes up from the front of the boat), and you will get a lot of wind thru your hair - and it will be great. Not only is the boat incredible, but the view of Illuminations is very nice, and all the stares you will get from people as you cruise past are a hoot. You really feel like you are doing something special. You will really enjoy it.

We have not been able to do the Illuminations cruise on Breathless (YET!) but we have taken the Speed Cruise on our last three visits. It is a blast - better than an e-ticket! The driver is super nice and I can guarantee you will love the cruise. I asked him on our Memorial Day weekend trip about the Illuminations cruise. I was specifically interested in knowing if he "opened it up" - he said that he did not. He did say that before Illuminations he cruised around the lake and the canal by the Swan/Dolphin & MGM. If you want the speed version - you can book it for a 20 minute ride - or longer if you want- (I believe it is about $60 or so). In my opinion it is worth every penny!!!!! Enjoy yourself.
