So Excited!!! Just Booked!! How to Keep a Surprise!!

We go in January and we are doing exactly the same as you! We've decided to give the children special personal invitations from Mickey (done on the computer) after Christmas dinner. It is terrible trying to keep it a secret and I am desperate to tell them. I will resist as my middle daughter will ask: 'Are we going today?' Each and every day until we go! I'm so excited, I can't wait. Roll on Christmas.

I know. We told them last time and my DD wanted a countdown calendar in her room but it consisted of over 200 days and was such a LOOOOOOOONG time for her. Our DS did ask constantly "how many sleeps left now?" and that quickly went from sounding cute to being slightly annoying! At least this way they will only have 44 sleeps after they find out and like you, we are very excited to be doing it this way

What a wonderful i idea booking disney as a xmas present, thats my younger brothers xmas present sorted!! he's only 8 he's been before an would love to go again so thats what im going 2 get him for xmas, i want to go in March, will be booking it in oct an keepin that a suprise will be so hard, as i get so exicted!!

if you registar with disney's site you might get an invite sent to you with your childs name on thats what i did, i will be waking DD5 up with the invite and say come on lets go.... i have been dying to tell her since i booked it months ago, it does not help with all the TV ads for it i must get asked 4 or 5 times a day...........

That's a good idea! I'm almost as excited to tell them as I am to go! I love seeing their faces when I surprise them. We went to Alton Towers in the summer and I didn't tell them until we got there - we too said we were going on a picnic. I parked outside Splash Landings hotel and said I needed to stop there to go to the loo. When we got inside, I asked them if they would like to stay there one day. They said yes, so I said, well how about tonight? I'd hidden the suitcases in the boot the night before! DLP will be 10 times better!!!
