Just wanted to share cus I am SO excited!!!

Been renting points from DISers to stay at DVC for the past few years since we just can't afford our own points just yet (soon I hope!) so I am a big fan of DVC.

Hubby's parents own Sunterra Resort in Maui and we are all going together to WDW this October, so we are using their timeshare. Mother-in-law asked me to handle everything since they are brand new Sunterra members and they know nothing about Disney/DVC so I booked the Grand Beach (Sunterra Resort on SR535) for 2-two bedrooms but I also put in a request for exchange for any Disney property (SSR was first choice!) and I just found out that we got one of our requests! We got a 2 bedroom at SSR! I am still waiting on the 1 bedroom request and I am crossing my fingers that we get a 1 bedroom as well so we can all stay together!

We are all staying our first three nights at SSR (rented points from a DISer for a 1 bed and a 2 bed) and now hubby and I will be staying for the following week too! (so total of 10 nights at the SSR, how cool is that!!! )

So, hoping for some pixie dust that we get the second request as well!

Congrats, that is a great deal if you were going anyway and wanted DVC. Don't forget to pay the extra $95 resort services fee, put in requests and add the DDP though MS i you so desire. I know you'll enjoy and another 1 BR is far more likely than the 2 BR was.

We've been lucky enough to get a week in a studio at OKW last Feb and a week at the BWV this June with our II ownership. We'd planned to see the world with it but we never seem to find what we want when we want it and WDW is always someplace we want to go, even with the three DVC trips each year.
