So, remember the dresses I had made for the girls?

DW didn't think I was quite done so she asked me to sew something else. And here is what I came up with:

(and yes, that is mock piping :) )

I even redid the hat using the regular pooh and my contrasting fabric on one side and put an applique on it:

Now I've got that old floppy hat I made. I'm thinking I should sell it on the Ebay. :)

Jeff, you're putting me to shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

I own a buttoneer....that'll tell ya how much I sew!!!

Those bee buttons are soooo cute!!!

You're quite the talented seamstress...er....hm...seamster? :jester:

And just when did you say you'd come by my house??? :teeth: Truly, you have my admiration and respect!

Jeff, your work is amazing. I used to sew a lot (that's how I helped our family financially, I didn't do it enough to make an actual living but I probably made 5-10 garments a month for a very long time). I remember when you made the girls first dresses (or I believe it was their first) and it wasn't all that long ago. You've done an excellent job on each project since.

I've mostly quit sewing for anyone but Ashli (she's my baby, I guess I'll always be willing to make things for her) but I have agreed to one project next month that I'm really looking forward to: making a dedication gown for my soon to be born neice Emma. I've made one other of these gowns and it was so great to make such a beautiful and tiny garment and to know that it will be treasured by her in years to come.

That fabric is sooo cute! One of my neighbors who sews gave me a Moses basket for the kidlet with a removable cover made from the same fabric. :)

VERY cute, Jeff, as always. Love the pictures of the girls, your sewing too.

Ok, now you're just showing off.

:teeth: I would be too if I did half that well. :teeth: Those dresses and of course those girls are adorable. I'm impressed.

In all honesty, it's not really that hard to do Lesley. Find someone that sews and have them walk you through an easier type dress. That's what I did - after about 6 hours of 'supervision' I was tackling things on my own.

Yeah, it might take me longer to do some things, but I'm learning all the time. And trying to have fun doing it. It still gets frustrating at times.

OK Now you need to do a Disney QUILT!!!
