I'm wondering if all of you guys are booked with airplane, room ressies, etc? I see some of you even ordered (and received)your MVMCP tickets. Are any of you waiting for the official announcements? I guess I'm so worried about not getting registered for DISCON II, not sure what days to book, trying to find decent airfare, etc. that I'm holding off.

Am I the ONLY slow one?

I'm working on my room. I have most of my trip booked through DVC. I have an AP already, so I don't have to worry about a ticket. I'm watching airfare right now, but don't have that booked. Will probably call for MVMCP tickets next week. Pete did confirm the dates for DIS-CON, (Dec. 4-8) and he did say registration would stay open for along time. So I don't think you'll have any trouble getting registered. Go ahead, make the leap and start planning.

Your not slow by any means, I'm just very inpatient. I’ve booked my flight, mainly because I got a great deal while ‘playing’ on price line. SO i will be in Orlando from teh 2nd - 9th December. My airport transfer is all booked using Tiffany towncar & my first nights hotel accommodation is also booked at The Marriott Village (right opp the outlet mall - i NEED to shop).(used my hubbys points for at this hotel so it was FREE) The rest of my stay isnt booked just yet but I do know that i will be staying at The Dolphin with my roomie Robin. I also have my tickets to MVMCP 8th December, and I have a place on December99's table (Thanks Chris ) – again I’m impatient / over excited

Well, lessee. I had my hotel ressies last January, and have had my airline reservations for just as long. Call me impatient, call me crazy..... I figured I'd want to go to Florida anyway for my vacation, and December is my favorite time. And if there was going to be a DIS Convention, so much the better. Luckily for me it all worked out.

Yes, normal people would probably wait for an official announcement. But Mr. disneycub is far from normal. Or am I understating again?

Well I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that's impatient

I have our hotel booked (YC), we have our MVMCP tickets and LTT PS (12/3), I'll be booking Holly and Meggan's air the end of this month (using frequent flyer miles), but mine will have to wait until American comes out with a special. Right now the fare from the V.I. is ridiculous.

I have my AP, but Holly and Meg will get their tickets when we get to WDW. Holly will be using a military dependent's discount.

I've also made a reservation with Tiffany Towncar to pick us up at MCO.

I guess booking things early helps ease the pain of waiting.

Reading all your posts makes me want to go out and book everything now ... this very second even . But the practical side of me keeps saying to wait for the official registration.

I'm also trying to decide if I should go solo or not. Since I don't personally know all you guys (but I feel I do... being the lurker that I am I've gotta say you guys just really make my day. If find if I need a laugh I just log on, but now I'm digressing. ). Although I did meet John (Towncrier) on the DCL. It sounds like lots of you had more fun going solo. Oh decisions, decisions ...

I had a total blast going solo! I went to WDW....um..... several times last year, and each time I brought a friend along. And I would play "tour guide." Which was fine, and I really didn't mind. At DIS-Con, I was a little nervous going solo (as were many of us), but those fears were quickly put to rest. It really was like "old home" week. I never felt out-of-place, and had the bestest, bestest time!

We have our airline ressies and the hotel ressies. We are DVCers so I made our ressies in Jan. I hust changed our some. We are at VWL Dec 1-6, then BCV Dec 6-9. I am on a wait listto maybe get BCV for the whole time. MVMCP and AP's we will gete later. Once we see the schedule Pete puts out then we can make more decisions. We are also going to do the Candlelight Processional. A must do for us, it is great. Can't wait to meet everyone in Dec.

Solo is the way to go. I wish that DW would join the fun, but she insists on staying home with the children. Like Barb, I'm almost done making my room ressies. I think that I'm going to drive down instead of flying this time. I ordered my AP voucher from a local Disney Store yesterday, and I bought my MVMCP ticket for 12/8 this morning.

Although I did meet John (Towncrier) on the DCL.

Might I add that we met on the Inaugural 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise. I look forward to seeing you again in December Carol.

I guess I'm a bit on the slow side

I do have part of my room but I'm rooming with others so we are in the process of deciding where we are staying. But I am DVC too so I know I'm staying at OKW on Dec 3 and 8th. I am going to book my MVMCP ticket on Monday and I'm one of the organizers for dinner that night.

But otherwise, I'm waiting for the official to be announced and I can't wait!!!!

I have my hotel booked. Staying at the Hilton, the Swan and ?. Will have to renew my AP when I get there and buy DHs. I am watching airfare. UGH!!!.

I am pretty much all set (with the exception of the actual DIS CON registration!). I have had my airline booked for sometime now and made reservations at the Swan shortly thereafter. I already have my annual pass (making enough trips this year to really get the value out of it!). I ordered my MVMCP tickets earlier this week. December99 has included me in her table's PS for the CP for the MVMCP on the 8th - so I think I am good to go. All I need to do now is get registered and then fill up my itinerary with official and "unofficial" events!


I will be going solo - and think it is going to be a BLAST!

I have my train tix; my AP and MVMCP ticket are ready to go. I'm working on my hotel--only have a few DVC points to use, so I have a backup ressie at POFQ. (I do have a few nights at BCV, but hope to get more points!) My Mickey suitcase is half full. Credit cards, passport, etc. are in my travel bag (only use them for travel to/from WDW.) I guess I'm ready!

DH will most likely be coming, too!!
I'm going down in 4 weeks with DS, so I've been busy planning THAT trip. Then, I'll work on the DIS Con details!!!
Oh wait, I did do something! We're on the wait list for the Contemporary through Shades of Green!
And, I bought my first AP, since I'm going twice this year!!

I have my AP already, and I booked my hotel. Staying at BWI using the 5 night free stay from buying into the DVC. Love the Boardwalk and the price was right!

Will probably be buying my MVMCP soon. I will be shopping for airfare for awhile. Way too high right now on Delta and SW isn;t booking out that far. But I will get it eventually! (My Mom is so excited about going again and seeing everybody!) Love the planning!

I have my hotel (OKW and BCV) and that is it! My AP expired the end of April and since I know I won't be going again anytime soon I decided to wait to renew it. (Probably Oct)

I can't decide if I am flying or driving. If I drive, I need to leave on Dec 8 and can't go to the big MVMCP event. If I fly, I can probably pull that off by taking an early flight on Monday. Decisions, decisions.....

Since I'm staying with Barb, I have ny room ressies. Nothing else done as yet. I'll probably wait until just before I go to get my park pass. I'm waiting on flights to see if rates drop a bit as summer gets closer.

I just made a ressie with FL Tours for a towncar to and from MCO. We arrive Dec 1 go to VWL then we move to BCV on Fri Dec 6 and leave for home on Mon Dec 9 in the morning.

I have my hotel reservation at the Swan and a frequent-flier reservation on American Airlines - but haven't been ticketed yet. I have a rental car reserved to get myself to my mom's house when I arrive on 11/29 and to WDW on 12/1, but haven't decided how I'll get back to the airport on 12/8 (probably Mears). My MVMCP ticket for Dec. 3rd was ordered, so I just need a new park hopper. I'm just waiting for the official announcement so I can begin planning the small details!
