I made the big mistake of not purchasing my flights the day they were released at $122 going and $134 on the return. Now those same flights are $177 going and $164 on the return. That's crazy!! Any hope those flights will go down or should I just bite the bullet and purchase? YIKES.

You didn't mention which airline, but I have been watching for a return flight on JetBlue because I wanted to come back late in the day. Our trip is in May and finally today, it went down to what I was willing to pay $124 and I jumped on it. I would wait.

I am in the same boat from ISP as well. We are traveling 8/22-8/27. Prices are $340+ and we are a party of 7. I am shocked. Last time we traveled to WDW in August it was $59 and $99. I am hoping someone can give some advice also.

Also going in Aug. & waiting for prices to drop. We paid $182 rt from ROC last July. Rates now are over $300. Hope they come down soon.

we paid $89/99 each way for our may trip, and $99 for our oct trip. i think the SWA's days of less than $89 ISP-MCO fares are gone (i've been checking almost daily since they first came out).

i would wait a bit on the .$164/177 fares - maybe book a different time or day (perhaps late flight prior day going, and/or early flight the next day rtning) just to ensure you have something, then change if a better date/time/price comes out.

Airlines have a limited number of seats available in each "fare bucket". There could be 6 seats available at $150 but the system will show you the lowest fare that's available for all 7 passengers. See what happens if you try to book one at a time.
