So Depressing to Return

Well back from a totally amazing (first) Disney trip. All that planning and its over. But I'm now having fun with organizing a photo book (never done one before). What's depressing is it's hard enough to return to work after vacation as it is, but not one single person asked me if I had a good holiday. I mean, is that normal? Obviously I wouldn't have replied for hours on end but still disappointed.

Frozen, I really hope you do a trip report. Watching you plan your trip made me so jealous, knowing that you were getting to experience everything for the first time. Plus that can help fight off PDD (Post Disney Depression)

That is sad! When you plan for months and have a great vacation you want to share it! From your post it seems like you had a wonderful first trip. Perhaps write a trip report on dis boards. There are many of us who love reading about people's trips and love commenting on them!

Thanks for the replies. At least I can "talk" to all of you and continue reading the boards. It just really surprised me of 'human nature' that there was no human in there. And I am one to always ask others when they return.

Read your comments on your trip- We stayed in Cars in August, I was a little worried as values can sometimes be not so great, but we absolutely loved it as did my grandson. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Don't feel bad, we rarely get asked how our trips went either. I prefer to think they're just jealous we got to go!

Well I tell her anyway whether she likes it or not!!! Some people just don't get it! Ya know what I am glad! Disney is already crowded enough! LOL

Sorry you have that too. I just find it so uncarng and makes me hate my work even more (and of course even harder to return)
