Ok so we're staying offsite so I don't get the benefit of 90+10. I called this morning at 7am exactly to make my ADRs for 11/30. I wanted desperately to make a Le Cellier candlelight processional ressie, if that was full then I wanted a Brown Derby Fantasmic package. BOTH WERE BOOKED. 7am 90 days out! I am beyond bummed. Why did I bother doing all this planning if I can't even make the reservations I want! I knew it was going to be difficult with the 90+10 option of those staying on site, but they had NOTHING available... I didn't care what time we had! Sorry I just needed to vent. I'm just so bummed about this. :sad1:

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go as planned. However, don't give up yet - people cancel! Even with my 90+10 window (we're staying on property) I didn't get everything I wanted. I kept checking every day or so and finally, about a month later, I got 2 reservations that I wanted. Even if you can't get the package you're looking for, you can still make a nice reservation for dinner somewhere else. Good luck!

I agree, don't give up! Just plan to call whenver you can to try and get the package!! Hopefully it'll work out for you, I know that must be terribly frustrating!

We also didn't get all of the ones at out 90+10 window- so don't feel to awful that you didn't get yours. The CM says that EVERYONE has had a hard time this year.

Personally, I don't think you are missing out on either of those!! You will still have an AWESOME time...the parks are decorated and beautiful!!! AND you can still see Fantasmic and Candlelight Processional...just with a little more patience. If you have little kids, why not consider something else like Hoop Dee Doo instead? They would probably enjoy that more than either of the ones you mentioned! Trust me, I have missed out on some of these so called BIG ticket shows and have always had a great time anyway...don't be sad!!

I couldn't even get the late show for CP on Dec 3 for any restaurant I cared about!! And I booked today for my trip that ends on Dec 4!! So, don't feel too badly. I had to book Coral Reef, eating at 3:40, for the 6:45 CP show..not what I wanted at all, but I really wanted Stephen Curtis Chapman!! And my friend leaves the next day, so that's the only night we could do it together!!
I had to tweak the times for almost all my other ADR needs. I don't think there was one single ADR that I got, this morning at 6am, that was within an hour of the time I wanted.
I can't wait until we go back to the 180 days out. I plan way in advance and know pretty much where I want to eat...don't really need park hours to plan those ADRs, so 180 days out works for me.

I have to say with the changes to the CP package this year, I had expected a lot of openings......I don't want to give up another 2 TS credits; we wanted to do the 2 character dinners instead.

Don't give up! I just found a CRT for 2 weeks away!!! I'm so excited.

don't feel too bad, We're staying on property (90+10) and also couldn't get Le Cellier with the Candlelight package. We had to book Tutto Italia for the Package and book Le Cellier on another night we are going to Epcot.

Good luck

Don't give up...keep trying. People do cancel. Just keep calling back, you just might get lucky and get what you want.

It's true . . . keep trying! We are going in 8 days and just last night I got a ressie for California Grill at a time that will allow us to watch the fireworks while we eat.

Good luck :thumbsup2

1) This is one reason they are going back to the 180-day ressie.
2) It will allow more time for folks to get it for ADR's.
3) I also heard a conversation with another reason.
4) Seems WDW is getting a lot of room cancellations.
. . . to get ADR's, people make a fictitious resort ressie
. . . they book their ADR's
. . . cancel the resort ressie and get their room deposit refund
. . . they have their ADR's and it cost them nothing.
5) If this were not bad enough, some booked Club Floor
. . . the IPO (concierge) would make the ADR ressies
. . . the guest didn't even have to do any phone work
. . . this left a lot of unsold Club Floor rooms
6) I thought folks took advantage of Disney.
7) But, I did think it was kind of a cute thing to do.

Good points, that's really rotten of people to do just to get the inside track to get ADR's. I also found a lot of people even on this board posting the ADR's they have and they have multiples just about of ADR's for the same restaurant at different times maybe a few hours later, but I thought Disney would cancel if they had similar times?

Congratulations!!

Sorry you didnt get the ressies you wanted.

As far as people booking disney rooms and canceling that is Aweful!! The things people think of to take advantage. That is for resort guests I feel if that is what they are doing then when the resort gets cancelled so should the ressies. That is a benefit to staying with disney.

I thought I had read here once that ADR's were cancelled if room reservations were cancelled. I guess not. I personally wouldn't want to take that chance (not that I would do that anyway!)

Agreed. For those of us early planners, I never had a problem getting what I wanted at 180 days. My 90 day window was yesterday. I called at 7 am, waited for 40 minutes and did not get the CP Le Cellier package that we really wanted. I won't give up, though, I'll just keep calling and hoping for a cancellation.

BTW-can you book the CP on-line or does that have to be done on the phone?

I believe the CP resesies have to be done over the phone.

I second that. I am sure I have read that.
And if you think about it, it really does seem like thats what Disney would do, because I am betting plenty of people cancel their ressie thinking the dining ADRs automatically cancel with it, so they go no futher.

To the OP:
I to, am still frustrated. I tried to book a few of our dining favs at 90+10 and here I am 24 days out and still can't get anything else.
Thank goodness I booked our 2nd and 3 rd choices, or we would end up with no TS adrs at all ;-/
It really makes me mad to read about people having extra ADRs booked just because they can't make up their mind yet.:headache:

WOW. People are APPALLING. I couldn't even think of something like that, much less execute it.

I felt bad about keeping extra ADRs yesterday to give me some time to get my ducks in a row. (Booking at 6 am yesterday, I couldn't get one that I wanted, so I had find a back-up plan. And then I backed up my backup plan when I found a better backup plan. Twice.)

Good points, that's really rotten of people to do just to get the inside track to get ADR's. I don't think that they cancel if you have similar times. The online system wouldn't let me book two similar times that were 5 minutes apart - I had to pick one before it gave me a confirmation number. I don't think that it would stop me if I had one already booked. The system doesn't seem to tie your ADRs together very well. For example, why doesn't it display all of your ADRs when you enter your phone number or your phone number and one ADR number?

(I couldn't figure out how to see my ADR shopping cart without adding a new ADR, so I just added a new one to get to my shopping cart and then canceled it before I "checked out". That's how I found out that it wouldn't let you "check out" with two ADRs for similar times. How do you get to your ADR shopping cart without adding a new ADR?)
