So Confused!

Trying to figure out FP+ for our December trip and happened to think we'll be there one night in October, staying at BCV for F&W. We'd like to do TT, Soaring & MS prior to doing F&W. Are we supposed to get fast passes ahead of time for these rides? WE will be activating our PAP vouchers on Oct. 11th, when we arrive, so I don't have access to our PAP number to use. I'm so confused. I found a thread on the Theme Park Attractions that appears to explain FP+, but it's 150 pages (or more long) and I just can't commit that much time to trying to read all of that and figure it all out.


I went to MDE site and read some overviews about FP+ but it referred to being in the trial phase and selected resorts are using it now. I think I read somewhere BCV is a selected resort, so I'm just trying to find out what I'm supposed to do.

Our email that Disney uses changed recently when our internet company was acquired by someone else - we don't have access to past emails at the current time and I worry that I've missed an email telling me what to do.

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

I've read that having APs linked in MDE won't work for the test. Wondering if you or anyone can confirm?

Where do you read that? I've seen no such information.

We check-in to AKV Jambo House on 10/3 and our MagicBands will ship in a couple of days. We have our RFID APs linked to MDE and I can make FP+ selections.

I am going to be at BCV in October and my APs are linked to my MDE account and my magic bands. When I went in to customize my bands it showed each of my tickets and each one of the bands it was tied to.

Have you linked your BCV reservation in your MDE account? When I did that FP+ did not show up. However, when I went back in and did online check-in and then logged out and then back in, it showed up and allowed me to customize my bands and select my fast passes. I hope that helps you!

If we do not have our PAP in hand until the day that we are going, would we be able to just use the regular fast pass process? By regular FP, I mean the way we've been doing it for the past several years.

It is Disney's IT. So on one day things will work and the next they won't.
