Anyway, my mid-April reservation with June UY had 35 or so 2018 points and the rest (about 70) were 2019. She told me she could put the borrowed points back, but at this point couldn't do anything about the 2018 points. This was better than last week when I called and they weren't putting the borrowed points back. I decided not to risk losing the 2019 points and cancelled now. She advised me to contact
DVC via email and explain my circumstances and see what they could do about the 2018 points. I'd already done so a week ago so she told me to wait another week, and then call back. I figured it was better to have one set of points to fight about (i.e. the 30ish points from 2018) rather than both. When they cancel April, I will call back and see what they can do for me with those points. I may try to make a reservation to protect myself for the end of May, but WDW really isn't going to be on my list of places I want to go when this is all over. The one bummer is that she said it could take 15-30 days for those borrowed points to appear back in my account. But beggars/choosers and all that
