So confused about Wolf Gang Puck cafe and DDP

So it says signature dining on the WDW site and the menu has 2 dinner menus listed, but they are the same. On WDW site it says something about WPC being 1 credit but for downstairs only. So if I made an ADR for WPC where am I dining? How many credits is it? What is and is not included with the dxDDP.

I've been searching this site and google for over an hour and I am getting a ton of conflicting answers. HELP PLEASE!

Wolf Gang Puck Cafe is the 1 TS credit and on the ground floor, there is also patio dining. The problem you're having is that the Wolf Gang Puck Cafe - The Dining Room is on the Upper Floor. The Dining Room used to be Signature dining but the first floor is not. According to the 2010 dining brochure http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...alog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2010Dining.pdf only the first floor is on the dining plan.

My wife and I have eaten at WGPC on the DDP many times, it's one of our favorite places. We may have just been lucky but our waitstaff have always been outstanding. It never concerned me, but I think the only DDP exception is that you can't get the Sushi as an appetizer, you have to get it as the entree. But that was some time ago and things change.

So when you make an ADR for WGPC on line which one are you making the ADR for upstairs or downstairs. It doesn't specify online and when you check out the menu it has diner and then diner, either upstairs or downstairs only I can't remember which, but they are the exact same.

Way too many WGP restaurants for me to keep straight especially before I've had my daily dose of coffee LOL

If you have made a reservation for the Wolfgang Puck CAFE (or it might be called the WP Grand Cafe) then you have made a reservation for the downstairs restaurant that is on the dining plan.

The upstairs restaurant definitely has a different menu from the downstairs restaurant. The Upstairs Dining Room is designated signature dining. That designation has nothing to do with whether or not it is on the dining plan, it just means it is a higher end restaurant with corresponding offerings and prices.

If it is not obvious to you which restaurant you are making reservations for online, you might try calling to make this reservation.
