I have an opportunity to get passes at a great deal. Basically would be able to go to the Zoo for free, and we had already had planns to go 3 days at DL and Sea World.

So, please tell me, are there any drawbacks to using them? Any problems?
Are you able to do early entry? Any issues with the non-Disney parks?

We have used them once, there are no issues I have ever been aware of! You do get on early entry for DL unless they have changed that from 2005. Someone else who has bought more recently can probably help there. They really are a great deal if you are going to do all the parks, and if you got an even better deal, I wouldn't be able to pass that up!!!

How does the DL part of it work? Do you turn in a voucher and they give you a three day hopper? Do you have to use your booklet each day you go in, or just the first day you're using the hopper?

We've thought about sending DS's with our cousin to use the Universal portion of the tickets, but would want to be at DL with our DD on that day. We'd want to let her use our Universal tickets, anyone think that might be troublesome?

Thanks for the input

I'm not sure, back when we used it, you couldn't use it at Universal! You had tickets to Sea World and the Zoo/Wild Animal Park. That changed about 1.5-2 years ago. I would assume that there is a tear out ticket for Universal but someone who has gotten them more recently would be able to answer you better. Sorry I'm not more help!

For the DL portion your first day you go to the ticket window present the whole booklet. They tear out the DL portion and present you with a three day park hopper.

You do have to present the entire booklet for entrance into the park but with DL you only need to present the booklet the first day. I don't think you will have a problem letting them use the universal ticket they will need to present the whole booklet but assuming it's not your first day at DL and you already have your hopper you won't have a problem.

They changed it I believe last summer they took out knotts and added universal! I just re read your post and saw you already knew that! Sorry I was getting a little over eager with posting I guess. Universal works the same as knott's did!

No problem!! We never used the Knott's portion so I wasn't sure how that worked either!! I have been going to DL all these years and I just can't tear myself away for a day to head over to Knott's. I admit I have problems!!:lmao:
