ARGH! Our vacation starts August 30!! This is driving me crazy waiting for a rate I can use. Congrats to everyone who can use the rates that just came out.
The rates that are out now, the Fairytale package, is good from July 3rd to October 30th, this is from the Disney Website:
Rates are based on adult double occupancy at a Disney Value Resort and are available most nights 7/4-8/23/03 and 10/2-10/30/03. Lower rates may be available most nights from 8/24 to 10/01/03. Savings are based on non-discounted 7-night package rate for the same package after 6/29/03.
The value season for the value and moderate resorts are 8/24 to 10/1 which will give you a lower price, but the package is good during your vacation time
The only problem is, we are annual passholders. As I understand the current promotion, it includes a parkhopper, which we don't want or need. I think Disney forgot about the AP holders.
Don't worry...last year the rates came out sometime in mid-late July for the rest of the year. I know this because we used those rates for our Thanksgiving trip last year.
Be patient....when its all said and done....ALL of us will be happy. Whether, its the FT package or AP rates. ALL of us, at some point, will get a deal that will be neficial.

Does everyone in your group have AP? Apparently they're allowing people to take off the UPH's for those in the party who don't need them.
This has only created a problem for me...it's very hard not to plan another trip now! We have 3 with AP's, 2 without. If I could take off the 3 that have AP's, I'd save a ton of money!
Yes, everone in our group has an AP. The rates that came out are good until the 8/23. We are going on the 30th. One week difference! I was just venting because we have our air booked. All we need now is a room to stay in.
"Annual Passholder rates just came out for 7/4/03-8/23/03! I'm so happy to eat my words (I had predicted there might be no Annual Passholder rates for this period)!"
