I had asked DH if we could go in Dec for our DD's third b-day and he didn't say no and said he would think about it and made it sound like a pretty good diea. Well he just said he would rather go in March if we go. ICK! We went in March last year and it was fun, but we paid top price and it was pretty packed at the parks. Especially MK. This year Easter will be in March so it will be even busier. I would rather not go than go when it is so busy. I've done it before years ago and we waited 3 hours for rides. Never again. So I guess if we go then I would, but it jsut wouldn't be as relaxing or nice as I wanted it to be. Plus I wanted to do the MVMCP and see all the X~mas decorations. I'm jsut so bummed. I hate that I never get to have a say. He is a dairy farmer so he calls the shots. He could get away in Dec if he really wanted to though. But for some reason everytime we have planned atrip it has to be in March. I want to go in DEc or Jan, even maybe early FEb..but he waits till its almost warm here too.
Wel lsorry for the rant....Just so bummed out.

That is a bummer, but at least you'rw going so that's a positive. My DW and I were thinking of going in Dec this year but decided against it as we prefer our longer trip in May.

Maybe if you let the DH know the amount of $$$ that would be saved by going in December and the lighter crowds in Dec, you might sway his decision. ;)

Well I did the math and it will be $1000 difference. I know he won't pay that muc hmore, and he is stubborn, so we won't go in Dec now either. he jsut doesn't get it.
