So Ashamed....

"be careful where you put the bulls eyes"

I'm sitting in my office wearing my Disney Cruise Line T-shirt. The guy in the next cubicle just yelled "Nice Ears" to me. It took me a minute, but when I looked down...yup, Mickey's ears are...well, I'm sure you can imagine!

As for little girls wearing "Princess" and other things on their bottoms...go for it! As for older girls--I agree, it's like spandex. Just because it's made in your size doesn't mean that it's in good taste to wear it!

Just use the saying Spandex is a Priviledge, not a Right.

Actually, my daughter has a pair of slacks with "Princess" on the bottom and I think they are rather cute! I don't necessarilly think they are appropriate for going out to dinner however. I think they have their place and time but I don't think MY opinion should be used to try and sway people to my way of thinking. HAVE A GREAT DAY! HM

with Everlast written accross the butt. It is really the style, and the kids like it, and I think it is ok. On the other hand, her dad (my ex) bought her a pair of sweats with the word "Angel" accross the butt with glitter. I cringe every time I see her wear them.

Frannn, sorry to be off topic here, but I HAD to comment on what the tag fairy put for ya!! ROFLMAO!!

I would abolish pants with writing on the butt for anyone over 18 or over 120 pounds (same rule with spandex)

Some people may take offence to this. I am 19 and I weigh more than 120 pounds and I think I look great in my spandex tights or my short shorts. Not everybody has to be "under 120" to be toned, athletic or beautiful.

I think as long as your not wearing anything offensive or overly revealing than everything will be just fine.

How in the world did this thread from 2003 get topped??!!

Wow, who dug this relic up and why? Not trying to flame just wondering what brought this on?

When I first posted, my Ds were 8 and 11...aww...they are 13 and 16 now, and what I'd let them wear on their butts has certainly changed! Fortunately, the trend seems to be behind us!

You don't have to wonder who bumped the thread. Just go back and look.

Not completely - I just bought my 10yr old duaghter a pair of white shorts with the word GAP on them - however, they're for her to wear while lounging around the resort room almost like Pj's, KWIM? Not to mention while I've seen this trend reduce it's still out there and I see girls of all ages wearing them. Fortunately, the words are now replaced with nicer versions like "princess", "CHEER", "Cutie" and the like instead of "SEXY" and "Naughty"

Honestly, I think they're adorable, too!! Most people whose eyes are drawn to the "Princess" are looking more at the word than at the little girl's behind on which it's written, and thinking "Awww, that's so cute!" :cool1:

Not to be obscene, but I think that the perverts of the world would be looking at a girl's bottom if there were words written on it or not, so I don't think that this would call for any attention that wouldn't already be there - just keep an eye out for the people looking at your kids rear ends, worded or wordless!! :rolleyes1

ok, so it's good that you want people looking at your little girl's butt? Ok, alls good then :thumbsup2

Last March there was a teen girl with shorts on that said "I'd hit that" across the butt, and she was with her parents and siblings in line for Winnie the Pooh at MK. I pointed it out to my wife (she's 28) and she was just in awe. She thought it was so ridiculous that she actually gave me permission to take a picture to show our friends...just for proof. The girl made the turn in the line before I could get the picture though. I really didn't care if her or her parents saw me take it, or us laughing at her...maybe that would have woke them up. :confused3
