As far as SILENT BIRTHS go, I know I was quiet(not planned that way). I had TWO scheduled c-sections for both my DS'! The operating room and nurses and mds were all lovely, very professional, very quiet.....
THAT BEING SAID...both my DS' came out SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER....
I actually asked IF they could possibly be silenced....hahaha...but all kidding aside, my two were giving me a migraine

and they were ONLY seconds old. My DH said "not a good way to be bonding, Honey, with your son"! "Shut-up DH"

! Well out came the pacifier and silence once again....I hope I don't sound like a mean mom, but I had to ask if they had any problems, they screamed so loud and so long, and hardly stopping to even breathe!!!
If Katie has this silent birth and she needs a c-section...DOES SHE JUST NOD???
She really does need to get some self-esteem! She seems like a real sweetie and always smiling

BUT I think she is totally under Tom's control 24/7! She probably won't even get to name the child, Tom has that all decided I am sure.
And I agree with the Posters about the Pacifier and just exactly where it should be...and we are not talking about Katie's mouth....
