So Anyone Else have Villains on their Mind?!?!

Closing in on our August trip and DS is most excited about the Villains Unleashed event. We're as ready as we can be, but can't help but wonder how crowded it will actually be... A couple weeks back DH saw something on FB promoting the event (you can share an invite with friend) which got me thinking (or hoping) maybe it's not overly crowded...or then again..Disney can be pushing to get more and more people.

Either way, we're all looking forward to it...Just hope DS gets to meet some of his favorite Villains. Plus I can't wait to see the Fireworks....

So anyone else looking forward to the event...anyone hear anything new?

Looking forward to it but haven't heard anything new. Was hoping they'd release a schedule for it. Can't wait!

I'm sure a basic entertainment schedule will leak a week or two early, but they won't release character schedules. They never do.

We are looking forward to it and hoping to see some of those villains that are never around. DD is beyond excited. Nothing specific yet from what we have seen. We'll keep an eye out.

Honestly that's all I'm looking for...entertainment schedules and merchandise locations. We're empty nesters and come by ourselves most trips now so meet and greets with the characters isn't a priority.

We are in full villains mode! We arrive on the 22nd and can't believe our good fortune that they scheduled this event during our stay. We got special villain lanyards (they sold out from the online disney store almost immediately after the party was announced), villains shirts for the party, and villain overlays for our magic bands….so yes, we are cuckoo for villains right now. And I bought a case of the new villain vinylmations so my 2 kids can each open one box for the 12 days leading up to our trip…sort of a Villains Countdown!

Found a great website a while back called Threadless that has some really neat Disney t-shirts - especially Villians. DS is trying to wear a Villain shirt every day of our trip...We all have 2 neat Cruella shirts (DS favorite) and then for the party we have one with Hook, Malificent, Evil Queen, Cruella & Jafar.
DS then has an Ursula shirt, a Sher Khan shirt, the good / evil 2013 shirt, and I am hoping to create my own design and print out on iron-on transfers to make our own t-shirts.

I'm just curious as to how crowded it will be. But best of all, we come back from this trip Aug. 28 and then will be leaving again Sept 24 for a 4-day weekend to go to MNSSHP on the 26th and of course enjoy some F&W.
