So aftr the DVC and AP and cast members test out EE, when can gen public?

It looks to me like the AP and DVC people will be testing this all out through the end of Jan. When do they start letting the general public ride? From what I have seen, it's official opening is in April, which seems like a long time from the end of Jan to it's official opening. Any ideas?

Is the cast member preview at the same time as the AP and DVC preview? Cause that sounds like a lot of people doing the preview at the same time.

I know that when we went on "preview" with Mission Space, it was at least 30 days (I think it was more like 60 days, but can't remember), before the "official" opening.

Come to think of it, as I was writing this, i googled it, and this web article states that soft opening was August 15th (we rode on it August 1), with the official opening October 1.

So, as you see, soft openings are several months from the official opening. Trouble with soft openings is that the ride isn't open all day long, it's a hit and miss kind of thing.

The CM preview is usually the week before the AP and DVC preview. The Grand Opening is set for April 6-8.

Some guest previews will start before the CM, AP and DVC previews. Guest previews could begin as early as the first week of January. They will want to have it all figured out before those previews. They always have limited guest previews prior ro CM, AP, and DVC previews.

From what i remember reading about people who got on Stitch and Soarin when it was in previews you kind of have to luck into it or hang out around the area that seems to be the entrance.

I'm pretty sure my dh and ds did Space during an unexpected preview...the walls were still partially up around the attraction. I didn't get to go because I was pregnant. I think it was in late July, since it was officially open when we visited that October.

We rode M:S on 8/13/03, but it 'officially' opened in Oct. So, I'm hoping that whenwe go to WDW in early April, we will be able to ride EE. It's a surprise for dd who really, really wants to ride it, so here's hoping it's open.
