Do you have to go to MVMCP to see it snow on main street, or does it do it every night during the Christmas season?:cold:

Only on party nights at 7pm. So you can eek it out and just about see the snow as you leave but to really get the full impact you would need to attend the party. It was very enjoyable! Quite pricey but we went on a AP discount night.

I think it does snow nightly once the parties are over, so the few days before Christmas through New Years.

So it wouldn't snow on a none party night first week in Dec? Just hated to spend 92 dollars just to see it snow on main street.....:crazy2:

No,BUT as mentioned earlier, you can go to MK on a Party night and stroll down Main Street USA at 7:00 PM as you are headed out of the Park and experience the snow that way.

how does this work? are the machines visible?
Maybe its more magical for non-snow people. I live snow every winter but I have some family members who lived their childhood having never seen real snow. That would be pretty cool to see snow fall for the first time on Main Street-even if it was fake...

The machines are on top of the buildings on Main Street and they pump out the snow all night. And yes, it is soap - not snow. It doesn't accumulate or anything, either. Just looks pretty falling down.

- this will give you a better idea of what it looks like - although this video is older because the garland sways aren't used anymore.

It was worth the 92 for me last year. I lived in FL for a few years and headed back this Jan. While I hate cold and all I believe if its cold there better be snow on the ground (I am originally from maryland)

I remember one year the news saying 49 states had snow in the state somewhere except for FL. So I wanted to see it snow in florida. While I know it wasn't real snow and all standing on main street USA and looking at the castle while it "snowed" was a complete JOY to me.

I have seen it and love it but my friend hasn't and shes the one that wanted to see it, she decided to wait till next year... Thanks

I learned something new: soap. I would have assumed something like snow machines on ski mountains. But soap bubbles makes sense as to why it disappears. Cool.
