And Chase . . . Can't believe that he's 8 1/2 months old already! He is crawling, pulling up, trying to stand on his own and "talking" up a storm. My little miracle baby.

I KNOW! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was freaking out because I found out that I was expecting.

I was giving my husband a hard time this morning about living in a house with so many "men" and how just because they are no maintenance doesnt mean that I am no maintenance LOL I can't be expected to be ready to go anywhere in only 5 minutes LOL


Hearing the news about Nov/December Free Dining had me doing some investigating. We could do an 8 night stay at the Poly for under $4000. DH made me a deal that if I promised I would never vacation with my extended family, he would pay for 1/2 of my Disney trips LOL I wish that I had 2K in my back pocket . . . I don't know if I can wait until 2011.

Hey girls!! Thanks for the birthay wishes!!! I am only 24!! Just kidding! That's what I keep telling the kids!! Ha!!!! 36...I remember when I knew people in that age range when I was young and felt so sorry for them Now I am one!!!!!

I keep trying for that deal (the no extended family).
It has not worked thus far.
This time fewer are coming - just one SIL and family. But, we're not really on the same schedule, so I don't have as much pressure.

Good morning Snowbirds!

Wow it was a HOT weekend here. We made it to the upper 90's Friday and Saturday. But it has cooled down a bit today and it is a beautiful pleasant morning.

thanks Shelly!!! Wow..it was mega hot here this past weekend too!!! Whew...fall can't come early enough for me! Sat wasnt too bad, but yesterday was killer!!!! We have 50% chances of rain every day..it'll be great for the grass, but then it'll be super-steamy when it stops!!

The OP made a smaller personalized version of a Passporter from a Wal-Mart Journal and scrapping paper and stickers!!! I am gonna do one for dd as an autograph book and one for me for my plans!!! You can get as techy or slimmed down as you want. They have some that are pretty beefed up...but I really like the one the OP had...much simpler and gets the job done...just thought I would pass it along if you were interested!!

We are watching 101 Dalmations (having a VERY lazy morning before school this afternoon) and ds11 just found some hidden Mickeys!! They are on Pongos shoulder!

Our temps have finally started to cool off as well... it was a great night sleeping as compared to what the last week has been like. We are only supposed to be in the low 80's for the next few days!!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for my DH! We had a great day...went out to lunch, mini golf and a nice walk around the neighborhood. My parents and sisters are coming over tonight for cake and presents.

I must say, I really missed our weather while we were in Maryland this past weekend. I cannot believe how hot it was in Annapolis!!! My cousin got married at 5:30pm on the beach and I think it was 95 degrees with 100% humidity. Even at 11pm at night, the humidity was still unbearable and it was 91 degrees!!!! The dinner was served inside (nice icy cold a/c) but the dancing was outside on this gorgeous deck. I could only dance to maybe one or two songs and then I would have to sit inside for awhile. I think the entire wedding party stayed outside the entire night! By the end of the reception, most people were covered in sweat from head to toe. Crazy!!!

I don't remember where in Pennsylvania some of you Snowbirds live, but we drove through the Harrisburg area on Saturday. It was still crazy hot there!!! I was hotter in Maryland and parts of PA than I've ever been in Orlando. So weird!!!

It's our terrible humidity!!! It's just gross! I wish we were in the low 80s...we are at the upper 90s....still...have been for a while...plus the humidity/heat index, it's usually up over 100 for most of July and August.....my birthday(and Tonys!! LOL) is usually in the hottest week of the year!!!! For a week stretch that is...not the hottest day or anything....So... I guess after this week, the heat and humidity will be an itty bitty bit better..unless of course we have another heat wave!!! I sooooo love the winter!

I don't remember where in Pennsylvania some of you Snowbirds live, but we drove through the Harrisburg area on Saturday. It was still crazy hot there!!! I was hotter in Maryland and parts of PA than I've ever been in Orlando. So weird!!!

Oh it was so stinking hot here (we are near Pittsburgh) this weekend it was unbelievable! My car said 98 on Friday and Saturday. And the humidity!! It had been in the low 90's prior to that for quite some time, so we have been suffering here! It is finally a nice day today. The humidity is gone and it is sunny and pleasant.
