Hello Snowbirds!

I feel like I've been away forever--had about 10 pages to catch up on. Things were really busy around here for a while, and then I had an unexpected bout of post-Disney-trip blues.
But I've missed you all! I love hearing about everyone's upcoming trip plans. I know we'll be back some day!
My DH left two weeks ago for a ten-week class in Virginia. Eight more weeks to go!
We all miss him a lot but we appreciate being able to talk and email every day, and skype a few times a week. Thank goodness for modern communication. And if he had to go somewhere, I'm just thankful that he's in the States instead of Iraq or Afghanistan.
Mindy, Chase is just adorable! I want to pick him up and snuggle him.
Shawna, hope you're feeling better! It stinks to be sick.
Kim, I'm still praying for your FIL and your whole family. I'll never forget the trip we took to WDW in 1983--it was about 8 months after my mom had been diagnosed with cancer and had been told her life expectancy was about 2 months. You never know what might happen.
Hope everyone has a magical Disney day. Keep those trip planning details coming!

I always feel sad when we leave! I try to just feel so blessed that we got to take yet another Disney vacation..but you still feel a little blue! I am thankful for you that your hubby is here!! I know it's probably hard for you and the kids for him to be gone that long though...just keep hanging out with us here when you can and we will talk your head off to keep you company!!! ha!!!!!!
I am excited to go at that time as my DH has never been to the food and wine festival... I have been many times but not him..... plus the PGA golf tournament is that week and he really wants to watch the practice rounds....
I spent the weekend painting it and Jason started installing the ceiling tiles last night. Plus we've all been hit with a lovely cold. I've had a frog in my throat for a week now. At least the rain has ended and the sun is finally shining.

Happy Anniversary!!!!

I think it's a combination of things -- the airport, the flight, and being anxious, nervous, & excited!! I do plan to take excedrin BEFORE we even leave next time. Hopefully that will help!
