He had requested to have a late morning time, and when they called us the Friday before they told us to be there at 6:30am. We were not impressed. So we were up at 4:00am, on the road by 5:00, and not back home until about 1:00pm. So it seemed like FOREVER to me, so I can only imagine how it seemed for the kids! But they did really well, thankfully.

Yes, I guess it's good to get started on the PT right away. But I bet he is going to be sore tonight!

It's good for him, right?

(My PT works my poor right leg pretty hard and I'm usually pretty sore afterwords, so he has my COMPLETE empathy!!!)

For my surgery, we didn't get to suggest a time, though I would have been pretty annoyed if I had and then it was totally ignored like your DH! I don't know what your DH had to do, but I had to shower night before and then morning of. My surgery was at 7am so I was annoyed to gave to get up at early o'clock to shower.

A neighbor friend of mine is in WDW and posted on Facebook that the RNR is the best ride EVER!!! I'm so glad they're having a good time. I referred her to the DIS and gave her my guide books to use. They're staying offsite but sounds like a good time.

Yep...when I told the boys I had booked our DLP trip, the first thing they asked was, "Do they have Rock'n'Roller Coaster there?" Fortunately, yes!

I just finished decorating the house for DS... he turns 17 today... my baby!!! He will be surprised when he wakes up... plus he will think its corny... but thats okay!!!

I know individuals that have had hip or knee replacement and they have them up walking and working on it that day. The more you "sit" around after your surgery, the harder PT will be.

Well, we are home! Surgery was quick and went well--recovery was the longest part, of course. took him a while to wake up, then he had to have Sprite and crackers.....the drive home was good. I was surprised how less of traffic there was!! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!!! We are suppose to get a PT appt for Mon...suppose to keep him laying around and watching movies all weekend...church on Sunday...that's it! We will have fun watching movies in this nasty weather!

I'm glad it went well. Hopefully he comes out of anethesia better than I do. The last time I had to be put under, when I came out I can remember yelling and cussing when my DH said to get me to eat my crackers and drink Sprite. Hopefully the weather won't be nasty on Sunday so it will be easier for ya'll to get out for church.

Does anyone know what you can do if Photobucket warns you you're close to exceeding your bandwidth? I read that it is how many times your photos are viewed using the links here (and wherever you post them). So what happens if tons of people read my TR in the next 10 days (before they "reboot" my bandwidth for the month)?

If I exceed my bandwidth for the month, will my images go away until the month is over? Mine says it's on the 9th.

He came out of it well....quite groggy..but good after the Sprite and crackers!! We are laying around watching movies right now...at this moment it's the Pink Panther 2...hysterical! He has been walking on it, then icing it down..he is doing so well...Thank the Lord!!

The birthday party went well and I survived a house hold of teenagers.... they were all great... some of the boys even stayed to help clean up!!!! Highlites were the fierce ping pong tournament....one of the girls dropped her cell phone into the "thingy that eats food in the sink" aka the disposal....(saved the phone)... group photo... taken to early as not everyone had arrived...nasty game of spoons.... overall a great evening with nice kids!!! My son is the 2nd boy fromt he right with a gray hoodie and blue shirt...his gilrfirend is in the front row.. second from the left with the blue and grey sweater...

Wendy, I'm glad you and your house came out of the party ok. I haven't played spoons since high school. We used to play that a lot and spades and hearts, and bs.

So my hubby and I had a big talk and he wanted to try and do a WDW trip if our tax return was big enough. Just do a bare bones, no dining plan, PC trip. Then his computer decided it was time for it to die. I swear I'm convinced that God has decided "no more WDW trip for you little lady". Oh well I guess there's 2012.
