5 days!!! I'm trying not to stress about the weather. Monday looks like rain but there is still time for that to change. Off today to get my pretrip mani and pedi

Shawna- Glad to hear DS is recovering!

Andrea- Never thought to trick or treat at FW! We have a camper and fo the past 4 years we've gone trick or treating while camping. The campgrounds around here go all out for Halloween- I can only imagine what they do when they're at FW!


Not much going on here. Em has an upper respiratory infection and is on antibiotics. We're getting ready for Christmas. Andrew told me I should ask Santa for money so we can go to Disney again soon. I wish it was that simple!

I don't remember if I posted here that DD's landlord refused to renew her lease. This happened on Monday. By Thursday, through a lot of hard work, stress and sleeplessness, she & her roommate found another place! I went down this weekend and saw it - it's BEAUTIFUL! Bigger than her current one, not that much more expensive, right in the same neighborhood!

Now if the folks who interviewed her would only hire her . . .

Intellicast is giving me a good report as of right now. I know it could still change but I'd be happy to keep the current forecast.

I'm still not packed. I'm not intentionally trying to procrastinate. I just need to have all of my clothes clean before I can put stuff into the bag. I also think that I'm letting the DSLR at home. It makes my heart heavy but indent have a ton of room to lug it.

How are things in your non-Disney world?

We are getting back to normal after having Matt gone for so long. Both boys are getting over ear infections. Ry actually lost one of his tubes while we were in California. Of course, that's the ear that is infected.

Chase, just tonight, wrapped up his second month of violin lessons. He is so cute with his super tiny violin. He is dying to actually learn songs. As of right now, he still learning basics : how to hold the bow, the parts, the chords, etc.

Oh no!!! Well...pump in those antibiotics and tell him to take it easy!!! He can overdo it at Disney! Not before!!!!! I hate when my kids get that mess...they just feel so rotten and it's so painful!!! Keep us posted on how he is feeling....


my ds is 17 TODAY!!!! Can you believe that?!!!

today was his first day back to school since surgery and I got a feelin' he is gonna come home exhausted...he was nauseated this morning getting ready,..so I just told them if he starts feeling worse to call and I can come pick him up....I am just so proud of him and Thankful for him...he is such a good kid! I guess we will take him out to dinner~unless he's too tired! But I doubt he will turn down a steak!

I picked the boys up from school early today~they had a pep rally and Big'un didn't feel like sitting through it...he was preeeeetty tired and getting sore by the time I got there at 2:30...he has his Drs appt in the morning and hopefully we are on track with recouping/recovery...he said he thinks the homework/catch-up is gonna be okay. Mercy! I hope so!!! He only has this week to catch up and then they are finishing and reviewing next week..after that is rotated Final Exams

I hope all your BOYS start to feel better soon!! Ugh. So far (knock wood) my GIRLS are healthy!

we're all doing well here in our Non-Disney world. Although our Disney Christmas room is almost fully decorated. We have our village up (Disney Dept 56) and our tree with a Disney topper and tree skirt, a bunch of Disney Christmas stuff around the room, all that's left is to put the Disney ornaments on the tree.

Well, I have FANTASTIC news that we've been waiting for - SHE GOT A NEW JOB!!!! (She being, of course, my DD.) And it's one that she really wanted!

Lots of and otherwise celebrating around here! Now we get to move her into her new, better apartment, and her new career begins!

Not much to report here. My birthday is on Sunday, so there'll be a small family get together. I'm still busy applying for jobs, although there may be one lined up for next fall. Never ending cycle!

I was up until 11 last night making some last minute dining changes. Back at my 180 day mark, I had read that Hoop Dee Doo was gong to be closed around this time so I didn't even bother with reservations. I was tooling around here on the Dis last night and realized it was indeed up and running. Sooooo. . . I booked it!! My mom and sister are going to LOVE it. My SIL and I have already seen it. It's a personal favorite of our family. My boys talk about regularly. Now I have to decide if I want to ditch two other reservations or just pay out of pocket.

I see three kiddos this morning and then it's time for me to come home and get my bags packed. I have some odds and ends to wrap up this afternoon before my happy travelers arrive tonight. Nothing like an adult sleepover.

Hello everyone. 29 days til I'm at Disney!!!!!!!!!!!

In the final home stretch of my brother's wedding. We are getting all the little odds and ends done now.

We are also getting new hardwood floor put in, as I "speak".
