I am at work looking out my window and it is SNOWING!! It is totally disgusting! I want to be back on the beautiful beaches of Castaway Cay even more now!:umbrella:

My sympathies are with you! It is only raining here but it could be snow. Think warm, happy thoughts!!!!:umbrella:

I should not be snowing in Oct. - I know it does in places, but it shouldn't. Think warm happy thoughts :sunny: It is very grey here today.

UGHHH. SNOW already. Good Luck, I know we have it in our future in a couple of months and am NOT looking forward to it.

I have a friend who has a home in the Berkshires (western Massaschusetts) and he said it snowed there this past weekend!

This is way too soon for snow....Brrrrr!!!

I am looking at the same snow. I'd like to play hookey today and cuddle up under a blanket and watch the Disney Plannig video over and over. Take comfort in knowing that someone out there is probably on Castaway Cay right now (and hopefully you will be there soon).

Hey, I didn't think you were aloud to say bad words here on the boards. That four letter "S" word is a very bad word in my dictionary. :teeth:
Although, my nephews will be tickled pink to hear it is snowing, since they think we are leaving next saturday for a snowmobile trip, they don't know yet that we are really going on a DISNEY CRUISE! :Pinkbounc

Cindy

:firefight

So I guess now isn't the right time to tell you tht it's about 84 degrees today with semi-dry air and few clouds...........just tons of sun.............???????(sorry-I'm bad, but this is the time of year we Floridians realize this is why we live here!!). I'll be feeling for you while I sit by the pool.............:sunny:

Supposed to be 80 and sunny out here in the West as well...for you that are getting the snow KEEP IT! We dont want it YET! In 2 more months you can send it our way..but just ONCE we would like a decent Halloween to take the kids Trick or Treating! Just once it would be nice if they could actually WEAR the costumes instead of having to wear thermals and coats, hats, scarves, boots...you know the normal cold winter wear!

I do feel sorry for you though..even at 10 am it is above 60 here!

Dear Feenie:
I am at work looking out my window and it is SNOWING!! It is totally disgusting!

Come to DC.

After years of breaking my back shovelling snow, I finally broke down and bought a top of the line "snow-thrower".

I have thereby insured it will never snow again here!

Come on down. You'll be half ways to WDW, too.

Jim

To make matters worse............ now they're saying that central Mass. and southern N.H. could get up to 4 inches tonight !!!

I haven't even seen a snow flake yet this year and I'm already thinking of moving to Florida !! I REALLY need a cruise right about now

LOL Jim- I just told hubby the other night that we should buy a bigger more expensive snow blower so we can get the Utah weather to Florida warmth.::yes:: Since we bought our top of the line snowblower 5 years ago we have used it MAYBE once a season and have been in a drought going on the 6th year this year.....

Heidi

Its this time of year that makes living in Florida all worth while!!

Beautiful sun, nice cool temp, perfect perfect perfect. :bounce:

This is WAY TOO depressing!!

The only good that can come from an early snow storm is a 'snow day'. (I am a teacher -- Yes, we too, do a little 'snow day' dance every now and then!) I think staying home all day in PJs, with a nice warm woodstove fire, planning our April cruise would be fine!!

Feenie- where are you located in NH (northern, southern)? I am in western Maine (White Mountains). We are getting a freezing rain mix. However, it is going to change over to snow tonight/ tomorrow morning.

I am in South Central NH and I haven't seen it YET. But they say tonight it's coming. I think I will start packing and cheer myself up!

Well, yesterday in Northern Maine we got about FIVE inches of snowman snow! MY DD and DS went out after school and made three snowmen and a few snowforts!! They are loving, little do they know we're in for a LONG winter if it stays! A LOT of automobile accidents--funny how people who have winter 6 months a year "forget" what it's like to drive in this stuff!!

Anyway, a February trip will help break it up for us!!

We are in Western NH about midway up the state. (pretty much the middle of no where!) The best part about living through the winters, is that we appreciate the sun even more!:sunny:

Feenie -

I am in Eastern Vermont, just accross the border from Dartmouth College. Are you close?
