Finally we actually got real snow! It was just breath taking around here this AM!

Just as I went to take this photo the winds kicked up and it seems like it was snowing. This snow was so amazingly light and fluffy!

Wow very nice!!! That is how it looked outside my home Tuesday morning. We are supposed to get above freezing by the weekend and hopefully start melting all this white stuff.

Come on spring!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Those pictures are great. I really like the ones with the robins and blue sky. Maybe spring isn't far away!

Great shots! The robins(many of them) hung around all winter up here, too. Strange. I usually see them and think spring is around the corner- not this year! I guess the berry crop was good enough to keep them around.

Just beautiful!:goodvibes

Love your doggie!:) Looks just like my Hunter!

LOVED your pics!!! Same exact snow storm for us!!! Same area too! I'll add my 2-cents ...

Absolutely GORGEOUS! I hope to see snow like that one day.

Its great when it first comes down and the first light hits it,,,, but then you have to shovel it, then it starts to melt a little and everything gets slushy and the pretty white snow starts to turn brown from the dirt and splashing from the cars, then over night all the slush freezes over and you get black ice early in the morning and your slipping and slidding all over the place ending up on your a$$ once or twice and then you have to scrape the ice off your windshield and then the person driving in front of you never took the snow off their roof and as your driving behind them on the highway large chuncks of snow come flying at you at 70MPH. Then after you've finished shoveling the driveway the snow plow drives by and dumps another 2 feet of snow at the edge of your driveway and you have to shovel that all over again.

Can you tell I'M DONE WITH SNOW this year. AAAUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH

I think we're up to around 50" so far this year. On average we get 43" per year.

I'll try to remember to take a picture of our mail box tomorrow. With all the snow storms and shoveling and plowing and snow storms and more shoveling and more plowing the snow drifts and piles at the edge of our driveway are about 4' high and you can barely see our mail box.

Oh and did I mention the ice dams on the roof!!!!!! grrrrrrr

Unless I lived out in the countryside, I wouldn't want to live where it snows all winter either. I imagine you hate the snow as much as I hate THE HEAT. We don't even experience seasons here, but summers last far too long and are miserable. We use potholders to open the car doors. ;)

I love the season changes we get. Though at this point, I'm just plain done with snow. Yet we still have a good 2 months left of potential snow time. YUK.

This morning it was 9º when I left the house. Tomorrow its supposed to be in the upper 40's. Our weather is on crack!!

I loved seeing the Robins!!! I can't wait to see some here in my neck of the woods. (northern Illinois almost to Wisonsin) We too are tired of the shoveling and pushing snow off of our cars and sidewalks. We have had our fair share of the white stuff. We have at least 6 more weeks of chances of snow:( But this weekend it will be in the mid 40's that mean the roads will be flooding and the rivers too. We have about a foot still on the ground and they say the ground is frozen for about 4ft down. So there is nowhere for the water to go.
But, you gave me hope that spring will be here soon with you pic of the Robins!! Thanks for hope and the thought of warmer weather!!
