A few months ago we found out that "Wicked" was coming to Wichita. I really wanted to go, so I told Marc to try and get us tickets in the cheap seats. My stipulation was that I wanted to be first row in the balcony in a centrally located seat. He got the tickets and now our show is upon us. We get to go on Sunday afternoon. This will be the last show and I'm sooooo excited! Most of the staff from my school as gone and it's had rave reviews.

Wicked is amazing! I saw it at the Opera House in Boston two years ago. It was simply amazing. I read the book which is good but it just doesn't compare to the awesome-ness of Wicked. You are going to have a great time! I still regret not buying a souvenir!

MeMom, you are killing me with the Mary Poppins! I'm going to be hitchhiking down to Atlanta so I can go watch it. I can't believe it hasn't come to Boston yet and last time I checked it wasn't even scheduled for Boston yet.

My parents went last year in Chicago and LOVED IT...said they would pay to see it again and again.

I have seen Wicked 5 times (New York, Chicago, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta) and loved it every time!! The one that's touring right now (we saw in Nashville in October) has the best Elphaba ever. She brought tears to my eyes (better than the one in NY even!)

I am thinking about buying tickets to Mary Poppins in Atlanta too. I think I might give that to my kids for Christmas this year. Morgan is obsessed with the movie!

I'm really excited, but I went to the Dr. after school today with a killer sore throat and I have strep....

With our Thanksgiving unit we have been talking a lot about Plimoth Plantation. My thoughts have really been taking me to your wonderful state. I'd love to have some "chowda"!

I have listened to all of the excitement from the teachers at my school. They thought it was the best thing they had ever seen! They also said that the costumes were amazing.

Anita hope you get to feeling better soon. I can't take Augmentin at all. It doesn't like my stomach, but it's suppose be some strong medicine.

There are always rumors flying around about another Disney park. Disney owns a whole bunch of land in Livingston but hasn't done anything with it yet. Livingston in the next parish (we don't have counties) over from us headed east.

I quickly bought the soundtrack when I got home. The music is so powerful! I didn't have a souvie picked out, I had spent way too much on the ticket. We had great seats though!

I can't believe Mary Poppins hasn't come to Boston either. I went on the website yesterday and they have dates into September 2010 and none of them are Boston. BUT I did see that The Little Mermaid show is going on tour starting Fall 2010.
