Snow White's Wishing Well?

I have not noticed this personally, but a fellow Disney lover asked me about it. Since I did know the answer, I thought someone on here would! She said that next to Small World, as you are leaving Fantasyland (I'm assuming up the hill behind the stroller parking) is Snow White's Wishing Well supposedly. Her daughter was obsessed with this area because it was blocked off when they went before, so now she wants to know what is up with it. Does anyone know anything about this area at all?

I have seen meet and greet characters there. Can not remeber who they where.

I've seen the wishing well. I even have photo's of it (unfortunately my camera cable is at my store otherwise I'd upload one). Anyhow, I too was on a mission to find it after my relatives had a photo of it after only 1 trip. It's right near the castle. I've also heard it referred to as Cinderella's wishing well.

I have seen the wishing well, I belive it is in the pathway from the castle to the Belle's storytelling place.

It is cinderella wishing well - if you stand in front of the wishing well and curtsie down to cinderella you can see the crown which is painted on the wall behind her magically go on her head.

Cinderella's Wishing Well is in Walt Disney World, Snow White's Wishing Well is in Disneyland.

Cindy's is a small wishing well in a courtyard just to the right of the Castle, easy to find if you walk along the pathway by the rose garden between the Castle and Tomorrowland, heading back towards Belle's Storytime area.

Snow White's Wishing Well in California has the added dimension of a lovely song from Snow White when you make a wish. It's a great deal more themed, and well worth looking for if you're out that way.

There are 2 wells. One is located between the bridge between Belles storytime garden and the castle. This is cindys wishing well. The other is also a cinderella theme right behind the tinkerbell store. Between the store and the castle as you take the path to liberty square. This one is the one if youbow it looks like a crownis put on her head.Snow white was doing a meet and greet at the old skyway station by small world. Maybe they have it set up as a snow white well area? I did not go in it this last trip so I do not know. I heard thatit was going to be new stroller parking for fantasyland.

I know the area that you are referring to. We saw Snow White and Dopey there. I don't know specifically that it is set up as Snow White's wishing well though. Something to check out---- guess it means another trip .

I believe the one between Fantasyland and Liberty Square is a fountain rather than a Wishing Well. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong........ )

I believe you are right, a lot of people remember the fountain with the wall behind, but the well is in a garden in the pathway to Belle's storytime place.

let's confuse it a little more. I thought the height of the water fountains were placed so a child looks up to the princess, while an adult was forced to bow before her.

Thanks for all the replies, but most of you told me what I already knew - that there is a Cinderella's wishing well beside the Castle. She did mention that it was more of a water fountain than a well, so for those of you who said this, I guess that's the answer. She just had things blown out of proportion a bit. Thanks anyway!

Neither the fountain nor the well shown in the pictures upthread are what your friend referred to. Neither of them is "next to Small World". They are both next to Cinderella's castle.

The only thing "next to Small World" is the old Skyway area that has been blocked off since it closed and was recently used as a Snow White and Dwarves meet and greet. There is a water feature there. It was recently refurbished as a stroller parking area. Not sure if Snow White is there anymore.

Snow Whites Wishing Well is the right side of Cinderella's Castle, as you are looking at it from Main Street USA. It is near where Belle has her storytelling time.

Cinderella's Wishing well is in back of the castle in Fantasyland next to the back exit of Tinkerbell's Treasures. Can't miss it... it is one of the designated smoking areas.

Thank you! I knew the area was around the stroller parking, but I have never seen anything else there so I didn't know how to answer her. Those pictures were a big help! So basically, it is nothing, and she was getting a bunch of things mixed up! I didn't know there was a water feature there at all, so I've learned something too! I knew I'd find out for sure if I asked on here! Thank you all!
